Increase productivity, focus and kill procrastination

Hi guys

for a while now I have been using an online stopwatch to very good effect in my daily work life. E.g. I use it to set myself chunks of time for focussed effort, e.g. I'll work on this task flat-out for 45 minutes. I've even used it to time how long a task takes and use that to prevent procrastination in the future (knowing that something takes only 10 minutes when you're brain is thinking it's an hour long job really helps me a lot!).

I've found this has really helped me become more productive.

The best online stop-watch I found is this one:

Online Stopwatch

(Disclaimer - I have nothing to do with this product and found it through a search on Google!).

Have fun

Tony

That's a cool stopwatch, have you seen it on a 26 inch monitor?

I found an application that measures how much time you spend on tasks and will send you a report as well. I don't use it as often as I probably should.

Taking regular breaks help maintain concentration, but it doesn't mean much if you're not working a plan.

Time management is important because it's too easy to get wrapped up in forums, email etc. Working to a check list helps make good use of time, but it can get a bit boring doing the same thing every day.
