question about thanking not in FAQ

Hi there, I am new to this forum, and there have been some instances where somebody posted something I found useful, wanted to thank them. I look in the FAQ, nothing in there about how to thank. I click on the person's name, nothing there on thanking either. So, can somebody please tell me, if I wanted to thank someone how to go about doing it? Thanks in advance.

    Once you have reached a post count of 5, a thank you button will appear at the bottom right hand corner of your post following the quick reply button.

      MissTerraK had it right. I didn't have sufficient posts in order to get the big black thanks button. And for making me aware of this little known forum info, I thank you... Thanks to all of you posters as well.

    Try hitting the big black "thanks" button.

      I do sometimes wonder about posts on WF these days. You do wonder whether the quality of posts suddenly goes up once people hit the Magic Number needed to get Signature Privileges, or whether they simply disappear off the WF map?

      Do people really still believe that one post with a link in their signature is the way to El Dorado?
