Amazon review website on google first page, but makes NO sells:( Why???

After three month of hard working, my first Amazon review website is on google page #1. I made my first sell at 31st Aug. I was soooo excited. Then I saw some sells during the first 10 days of September. But since 11/Sep, I haven't seen any sells. It is still on the first page and even on top five. The traffic is increasing. What could be the reason? I am confused. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do about it?

    Are you still getting clicks recorded in your amazon stats?

    Typical conversion rates for amazon are about 2 - 4% for most products.

    I am receiving about 15 clicks on the affiliate links. Is it too little? But how did it makes sells the first 10 days? Just lucky?

      Until you are receiving at least 100 clicks per day, your stats are really not significant.

      I have 268 clicks this month, and already made 10 sells. I will have to wait for long to have next sell

      The search volum of my keyword is 2400 per month. With this kind of keywords, if I have a website on top five of google first page, how many traffice should it receive everyday? I only get about 30 to 40 everyday.

        oh i see. I just realize that I have 477 clicks in total. And 5 sells are the products my website is promoting, other sells are some other stuff.

    How is your keyword in terms of number of searches? If you rank the highest for a term that no-one is looking for, you'll be on the first page, but it won't generate traffic. (Just got done explaining this to a client who was insisting on using a keyword term that has no searches at all...)

        When you say 2,400 searches per month, is that broad match or exact match? Often times you can see something like 2,400 searches for broad match but exact match is more like 40...

        Exact match searches is a much better indicator of what sort of traffic you'll see from a keyword.

    It might also has to do with the affiliate product. Not all products are bought every day every year. You might want to consider the trends.

    Matt is correct. broad match numbers can mean anything that Google wants them to mean and are therefore useless. The exact match number is the real number.

    The amount of traffic that you should get depends upon the rank position, and only a small percentage of that traffic will click on your affiliate link, and a small percentage of that will purchase something.

    I get about a 10% to 15% conversion on my Amazon clicks, but I write original, detailed articles about each product.

      Thanks. if 10% to 15% conversion on my Amazon clicks is a good number, then my conversion is not bad. Seems that I just need to drive more traffic. There are sooo much more things I need to learn.

    That is not weird at all, every product has its own conversion ratio. Maybe yours is too slow, so try to keep evaluate your marketing strategy. Most of people will just give up and and leave this case until good result come. But hey, are you that naive and just stop giving effort when you've come this close to your first success?

    You are doing well for the keywords you are targeting. You can expect to get 30-40 visitors if ranking 1 on Google for 2400 exact search keyword. You need to rank for other keywords as well. Get more rankings and more exposure. Add more posts to your site. Include other products.

      I am a newbie. Don't know how can I rank multiple keywords for one website. Should I write new articles with the new keywords I'd like to rank? Do I need to rewrite the old articles(insert the new keywords)?

      When you say include other products, do you mean the same type of products?
