What do you guys do to get those likes in? Do you just find some other group in your niche and just comment on there stuff hoping to get likes?

$5 is going to hurt that much? Plenty of great sellers on Fiverr... I acutally just bought a service last night to test out, $5/800+ likes, worked out perfectly. Well if you are really cheap/low on funds.. Create a personal account and add friends and message them asking them to do you a favor and like your page.. Post in other pages, asking them if they will like you back, etc. But seriously though, the amount of time doing all of that isn't worth it.. $5/investment, then start getting more targeted likes once your page is popular and people want to get in with the crowd..

Yeah, but they are all fake likes from fiverr. How does that help bring in more? I've actually done that to one of my other facebook pages and it hasn't done anything.

Doesn't matter... Would people follow/like celebrities online if they were average like you or me and not famous? Not they wouldn't they would pass them up.. Having likes on your fan page regardless of being fake or real creates credibility and trust. People will be more likely to share your content, like your page, etc. After you get that hurdle done, then start posting valuable content, start promoting your page, start getting real people to join in, etc. Make engageing posts, all it takes is one post that gets shared by one person, and that spreads like wildfire once friends of friends of friends get ahold of it. I have one page with 50 likes, it's small I haven't done anything with it, but..

I have over 45,000 people in that network. So if each one of those 50 people liked/shared my post/update/whatever I have the chance* to get 45,000 new likes. Granted I won't get all of them but I might snag a few hundred in the process... The point is, all of their friends are now aware of my page in their news feed.

Your thinking is not correct, sorry - don't mean to be rude.

Ask yourself why you want likes on Facebook? So you have lots of people on your page that you can market to? Or so it looks like you have loads of people who like what you do?

Look; there is one way to get people to like your posts - post something that they will find valuable. If your just going around writing comments that don't have any value, why would they give a shi*? Ask yourself that honestly. You just asked this question in a thread; if everybody came here and wrote "work hard..." adn that's all, would you find that valuable? No! However I am sitting here trying to provide you with some information and knowledge that you can use now to help you get a result - so this post is valuable in some regard, so I am much more likely to get a positive response from you because I've spent time to write this for you, and am not just trying to get my post numbers up..... do u see what I'm trying to say?

So; write VALUABLE information that people will find useful, and you will get likes. It's as simple as that really. Yes you can go to group pages/niche pages, and get likes from those if you have valuable content to share with them.

Also, paying for likes is stupid. That traffic you will have is not targetted. They will not care about your products, so you are VERY unlikely to be able to interact with them and sell to them. Ask yourself this; would you rather have 5000 people on your list that don't no you, or your products or niche? Or would yuo rather have 100 people on your list that no you, are involved with your niche and buy the products that you are selling?

I hope this opens your eyes to creating high quality content, leaving valuable comments and being helpful. If you tell yourself that your going to help 10 people a day, you will notice that you begin to get more followers.

    Hope that helps.

The problem is I can write some valuable information, but where am I supposed to be writing it to? Who's going to see my information if I don't even have people to look at it in the first place?

No. Who cares if they are fake, untargetted, etc or even if they share or like 0 of your posts... The whole point is to build trust and credibility in your page, something 99% of IMers don't realize or care to understand. Let's take this in the real world.. Who would you be more tempted to be friends and want to talk with.. The guy sitting alone at the bar, or the guy with 2 girls on his arm and a group of people following him around? I don't have to answer that.. Secondly, another example: What business would you trust? One with 2 reviews, or one with 2,000 reviews?... Also we are not talking about a "list" here, we're talking about Facebook likes.. In order to build your facebook page you need to get viral or appear popular enough to prove you already are, post great content, it's all connected to making people feel a bigger desire to want to like you.

        Great analogy.

Another aspect to consider is that prospective buyers look at how many Facebook likes a website has when they consider investing in it. The owner of imgur.com was advertising how many pagehits he was getting per day -- which was well into the hundreds of thousands. He said that advertisers were advising that he bolstered his Facebook likes, which was only in the 30,000s, to give the appearance of more credibility.

    agree with Weedy92,

creating your own account and maintenance of your account may be time taking but it will be effective in long run.. no investment required in personal facebook account.

Also one last post, to anyone who says there's no ROI in buying fake likes. Run a business and sometimes you'll learn there's lots of things that don't offer ROI, but you have to do them anyways. I don't like buying those expensive "one owner" stickers for my cars, because they don't make me anything money back. But in the bigger picture of things they are helping me sell cars, and more importantly they are helping me sell my brand.

Share unique photos, video, etc. Active to reach your targeted audience.
If you want to pay for $5 on Fiverr, maybe it's good idea, at least you come to the public with enough fans already (though isn't real people).
    Pay visit to the groups.

What I'm still not understanding is where on facebook do you make these quality posts that will gain likes? You can't post it on someones fanpage as nobody will see it unless you comment what they post, but then again most of the posts are just like, "hey we are adding this feature!" or, "Here are some images and gameplay" how does one even make a quality post to that?

Make status updates on your wall, post comments on other page's walls... There's really not much more too it. Get creative, post an inspirational quote or photo for example, be fun.. Post something that's questionable, that people will want to debate about. Post something funny people will laugh about and want to share, etc. Also you can post on other pages, I've done it and it gets me plenty of traffic, not to mention people can comment on your post.. Facebook users don't want to be spammed to, they are not in a buying mode, don't make every update go to my site, etc. Post a photo, leave your link and don't comment asking them to visit it. Create a good mix of promotional updates, and a good mix of "viral/fun" updates with your link in them only.

    Chilldy, I agree with you.
It's about quality, not about quantity.

Let me give you one useful strategy.

which only cost you $10/$15, but actually it worth $85+

    Here is the steps:

Step1: buy some likes from Fiverr ($5)

Step2: create/join your Facebook Ads account

Step3: buy a Facebook Ads coupon ($50) from Fiverr ($5)

    Step4: advertise in Facebook

Tips: Facebook Ads target to the demographic, base on the age range, male/ female, single?, interest, straight/ gay....
You can easily select which type of customer you want to target to.
Tip2: Be specific, don't target too board.

Step5: buy next Facebook Ads compon ($30) from Fiverr ($5)

    Step6: advertise again

Summary : My suggestion is you can buy likes, but only for attract real likes.
You can try to test How Powerful facebook ads is by using cheap price. Even finally you just get 100+ but they are very high quality. when their friends see they love your page, you have more potential to increase 50+ likes.

    Hope this tips help.
    Marcus

Post engaging content that people can pass on to their friends. If people like the content, they join your page. Funny picture pages get a lot of fb fans and traffic. Reverse engineer their success. You can do it.
