Video squeeze pages are good, I completely agree. I do feel as though they leave anyone not interested in the video, completely hanging. I'd suggest a mix of content/video. Make sure it's quality copywriting, not general articles that you paid $2/100 words for.

      Just a piece of advice...

Squeeze pages don't exist in a vacuum. They are one step in a process. You could copy (not saying that's your intent) the "best" squeeze page exactly, but if your traffic methods or market aren't remarkably similar the those of the original, you can't expect the same results.

Some people do very well with very plain opt-in pages (TalkBiz News: What you really need to know to succeed online - Online business building newsletter), others find that some glitz and glamour work better, and multimedia can be either a plus or minus depending on the execution.

Finding models is fine, but you have to find your own "best" squeeze page from your own testing...

    • I don't think putting links in the forum is against the rules as long as you are not trying to sell something.

Another type of squeeze page that is gaining popularity is the one with just a big picture in the background, and a small box with a call to action and optin form.

Don't have an example right now unfortunately, but a WSO (I think called Lead Rocket?) recently came out with templates for it.

Who is your target market, where do they hang out, and what do they want?

Answer these questions and the most basic of squeezepages will convert well.

Spending all your time on creating the best looking squeezepage will count for nothing if you people don't want what you're offering.

I've been studying quite a lot of squeeze pages recently and the current trend seems to be the "behind the curtain" type of offer.

These don't show you what you're actually going to get, have no bullet points and seem to rely almost entirely on curiosity.

Just being honest here...doesn't really matter about the squeeze page design or layout....matters about your offer and how well you communicate the benefits of that offer to your visitor.

I agree with JabMonkey. It doesn't matter if the squeeze page looks cool or something, what matters is how you communicate your benefits and what is your offer(contents and stuffs) and all will flow smoothly.

video squeeze pages have always worked well for me

    they always convert between 35% - 70%

certain squeeze pages may work great for someone elses traffic but not for the traffic that your getting so the best thing to do is split test different squeeze pages and see what works best for you

all of my squeeze pages i have used optimize press to create them but there are still quite a few powerful little bits that i add to them and extra tweaks i use to make them more effective

  • I think offering software as a lead generation magnet would be killer. Also have some upsells in place and an affiliate program so that people can promote your squeeze and make money doing it.

It depends on your targeted visitors.
If you have a good design but can't provide benefit to visitors, your squeeze can't convert very well.

For me good squeeze page consist of
    - big promise headline
    - list of benefits
    - Storng call to action

    Hi Sandycmy,

Check out my page. My video squeeze page works better than my previous normal text squeeze page. The current conversion is about 30-40%.

I've always found that a video squeeze page with a short (under 60 sec) video sales letter offering something awesome for free, and a simple optin box, works well.

That said, I'm super attracted to the 'big picture with the optin box' style of squeeze pages we're seeing these days.

There are a few WSOs around selling templates for these newer squeeze pages, see if you like them as people rave about them.
