Killer product...what to do?
I have invested a ton of money on design, patent protection and tooling for a very unique product. Retail tests killed it. Product is super cool!
I want to reach out to you and get some feedback. Please give me:
- your opinion on the product
- your thoughts on what you would do with this product in regards to IM.
And NO, I am not a corporation shamelessly trying to promote a new product. This is a personal venture with money out of my own pocket!
I come from a distribution background and not an IM background thus my reaching out to you.

A little insight........
Ever wonder why in today's world, when it is increasingly important to individualize and customize products to draw consumer's into the market, when you walk into major retailers you see the mountainous wall of plastic coolers that are only offered in a few basic solid colors?
With all the resources that these conglomerates have at their disposal why haven't they launched decorated cooler that is cool?
The reason: the manufacturing process and the materials used do not allow graphics to be incorporated in any meaningful way either during or post production. It's as simple as that!
Well, that wasn't good enough for me. A little research showed there are over 20 million plastic coolers sold annually.
I spent a few years mulling over different ways to solve this manufacturing/design issue. In the end, we re-invented how a cooler is made. It took a long time and a lot of money but we finally came up with a design that could be manufactured at a reasonable price.
We have recently made our first footprint on the internet with our website. I am ready to sell. I want to build traction and a buzz with selling to the end consumer first. I will go to bricks and mortar as we get a sales history under our belt and am 100% dialed on the manufacturing so we don't ever crap the bed when manufacturing capacity gets taxed.
