Facebook Ads and Google Ads Manual?

Want to run some facebook ads and some google ads. Has been super long time since I have done it. Wondered if anyone knows of a manual out there ( free or paid ) that I can view that takes you through a fool-proof way of setting up different campaigns i.e links and ones that appear on websites

    Perry Marshall has a good guide on Google Adwords. You should check it out. Proceed with caution with Facebook ads. Test small and if you see good results, scale things up. If not, and you're just losing money... toss the campaign and find another advertising venue to market in.

      Is perry marshalls guide up to date? I had his old one back in 2006 has he updated since? Is that one still considered the best?
