I was curious. Has anyone paid a FB page owner with a lot of likes to post a link or share your page.

If so, how well did it work? Was it worth it? Is it even allowed and how did you go about it?

It seems like FB itself could capitalize on this.

    It of course works, just like you advertise in other people's website.

    But I suggest need to make sure your link is not blocked by Facebook,
    some of affiliate link. And also you need to make sure your link match
    the the niche that the page are.

      Gotcha. Seems like it could be a good idea as many page owners do not own websites to advertise on. Actually for people here looking for business, they would be a great person to contact, and offer you web building expertise.

      Now, I wonder what would be a fair price? How much would it be if the page had $1,000 fans?

    Yes, it does work.
    But it still depending on what you are trying to achieve..

    For example,
    1) You wanna get "Liked" only
    2) Share / talks about your page
    3) Blog post
    4) Advertisement for your website
    5) All of them

    I'll share 2 ways to you.

    1) You message that page owner, whether they willing to do it for you for free. I've done this method many times, and Honestly my side doesn't receive good reply or help.

    2) You contact them and offer few bucks, then they willing. choose those that has recently engage with tons of their fans.

    Myself is a Inspirational & Motivation Fanpage and just starting up Dash Of Wisdom | Facebook.
    only 2 other page willing to share for me, the rest, I pay a small amount of $5 just to make them "move"

    Using $5 to ask page owner to share it, it's better *myself* THAN paying Facebook Ads..
    as $5 fb ads only get u 4 - 10 clicks..

      Awesome, thanks for the reply! I was writing my last post as yours went up. I've asked some people to do it for free, but not much luck. I got one that way.

      The other I purchased their product (it was an ounce of silver) and took a pic of me holding it up, and asked them to share it. That worked out well (and I'm up 20% on the silver as well).

      For Twitter, it's just spam..
      They does have real people in it, but alot don't really see the message.. thats the problem to twitter..

    I have good experiences with that!
    Once I ordered a Gig on Fiverr where a guy had over 6000 facebook contacts (Friends and Subscribers).
    He created an event, where he was putting all my links in and invited all his friends to this event. It worked pretty well for me. You should give it a try!

    Just search for: "I will Share Your Fan Page, Website, Blog, or Product to my 6,000 Active and Loyal Facebook Friends For $5 on Fiverr" or something
