Guys, I've noticed in the past month or so, I've gotten a hell of a lot worse about being able to focus on my work and being able to be creative when it comes to my work. In fact, it seems like I have no focus to really do anything. Feels like a slump, and I've noticed it with most other things too, like drawing, I used to love to draw, but I can't focus to draw for beans now. I think Info-Overload and ADD walk hand in hand. But I know a un-focused and wayward marketer most likely will not ever be able to make his living online (I know I havn't so far), and I'm wondering what will help me focus. What do you do, drink, take, etc to help your focus? What do you do daily to stimulate that pink fleshy-bit inside your head? What do you do when someone like me asks questions like this of you? Any replies are helpful, thanked, and noted. -Sean |

I think it is info over load lookie the birdie! * chases after it * ![]() I think I have ADD, I start something and 5 minutes into it I get distracted by the smallest thing and forget about what I ws doing. Then again I have a lot of things going on at the same time so it could be information overload burning me out. Maybe it's the same thing for you. |

I think there is indeed too much information going on. Any others? | |

If I am writing and I get stuck, I sit back and make a conscious effort to think about absolutely nothing. Inevitably, I fail miserably at this task every time and I write about whatever it is that does come to my mind. It sounds odd perhaps, but it may be worth five or ten minutes of your time to try it. Just my two cents |

So, Just write down everything on my mind, and see what happens? I think I'll try that. |

When you get to the point where you can no longer focus and too much information is going through your mind, then it is time to take a step back and relax. This means turn off the computer for awhile and go do something that helps you relax. Some may like to turn everything off but some soft inspirational music and lay down with your eyes closed, focused on nothing but the music. Others may like to go and take in a movie or go out to dinner. Whatever it is that helps you relax and allows your body the time it needs to regenerate. James |

Thanks James. It has been particularly difficult to just 'relax' these past few weeks too, lots of worries in my head. I'll try sleeping with some soothing music tonight, maybe not even get on the computer tomorrow. |
