Hi Guys Sorry, I'm normally pretty good but ocassionally I have to have a bit of a rant to get something out of my system. I did a promotion recently to a product and service I strongly believe in, and it's something I own myself. So why is it that when I checked my Aweber account, I find that somebody on my list made a complaint. What is it with these people? I'm tryin to help them. I can understand if somebody doesn't want to be on my list, they can just unsubscribe, but if they have taken the time to log a complaint, why not email me instead to put their point across so I can do something about it. Do they realise that their action could result in you getting banned and losing a source of your income. Some people amaze me! Phil |

Hi Phil your not alone with that one about once a month i get 1 person complain because it comes to less than a tenth of a percent aweber isnt bothered. Normally its down to the likes of hotmail/yahoo when you receive your emails you can put down report as spam so i dont think the personally complain to them. However i got a right one yesterday sent out my weekly ezine and go a reply back saying "f*** off i hate spam" and hadnt even bothered to unsubscribe so i did it for them as i dont want people to treat me like that when i personally put great effort in for them. Its like with paying customers 99.9% will be happy and they'll be that very small amount that will complain without even a decent reason! Sadly it happens and dont let it bother you! sam X |

Ah I see, so it's possible it's not an actualy complaint as such. Wow, what that person wrote to you is pretty damn harsh, that must have really taken you back quite a bit. Yeah, you definitely don't want those on your list so you were right to do the honors for them :-) Well, what can say, if they don't want our help, then best of luck to them, Ias I would say "It was nice to see you...and nice to see you go!" Take it easy and thanks for the reply, nice to hear I'm not alone with this. Phil |

It happens. Some people forget they subscribed, or they're in a bad mood and just want to take it out on someone else. Sometimes they even click the spam button by mistake. Don't worry about it. |

Thanks Taylor, that's good advice. Maybe I should start drinking herbal tea or something ;-)
