Google suspected my site for malware...

I have no idea how this happened.

After creating and editing my site, Google put a flag on it for suspicion of malicious activity. I since then verified my site through Googles method of verifying my ownership of the site.

Thought everything was fine. The warning went away...

I obtained a review copy of a product from the product owner and he reported back to me that he visited the site and got the warning.

The only thing I can think of is I use on my computer at work and gain access to the internet through tethering on my phone.

That's when I first received the warning message.

I don't understand why he is receiving the message after I verified my site.

Does anyone have any advice as to how to fix this?

Is there a way to contact Google to have them remove the warning?

This is very frustrating...

Any advice would be appreciated..

It's possible your site was hacked and malware installed by the hacker.

No, what they will do is review the site and report back to you with the results.

For sure it's some sort of code that you entered and/or to a source that has the malware. The best way is to check your code again and check all outbound links and verify the content on them to confirm that no malware can be found.

It's only a squeeze page tho. I don't have any out bound links or anything.

I used optimize press to create the squeeze page, didn't use any plug ins..

How to I check the code for malicious codes?

You can use the follow scanners to help you out.

    http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/scanner/
    https://www.virustotal.com/#url

Are the ones that I would use.

I use eset which is nod32. IMHO it's the best one to detect threats, try a trial and see if it comes up (or better yest someone you know who has it) and then you know its clean

      Hello,

scanning your website with a regular antivirus will do no good, because all malicious scripts and other bad code will be inactive.

You site needs to be scanned from Internet with special software : website vulnerability scanner as advised by other warriors. If nothing comes up, than try to wait couple of days and see if warning leaves by itself. You can also try Bitdefender web scanner , i think they offer a free trial.

      regards
