if it's the small microsoft window in the middle of your screen "you might have a virus on your pc.go here, pay money, etc" type of popup, you can remove it by disabling the "messenger" service. google it, it's pretty easy to get rid of

Sounds like you infected pretty seriously if you keep gettting pop ups. Download and install the Malwarebytes, it's free and it well clean your computer of all spyware and adware.

You can get it here at this computer knowledge site.

I second Malwarebytes. It's awesome.
I use it along with WebRoot's Spysweeper (It's $29.95). Worth every penny.

Do you have your own .WS, (dot website)?

Run the Microsoft Live Scan (free). Takes a while but should identify and clear most infections.

1. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
2. Lavasoft Ad-Aware
3. AVG Anti Virus

This free combo has killed almost everything that I've put it up against.

I'm tired of my signature... Deleted.
