Can I just copy the opt in form from by blog and use it on my facebook page as well. So basically clone it so that the people who opt in get sent to the same list, the form would obv look the same too. Can I do this?

yes you can.. You will have to add the tab and then it will create a frame of your website

I'd recommend cloning the form in Aweber and then copying the new form's code into the Facebook tab. While you can copy the code direct from your site, you won't be able to track the conversion of each form this way. If you clone it in Aweber, they get treated as two separate forms, so you can see the conversion of each.

    Hope this helps.

Create a new web form so that you can use tracking to see where the leads you generate are coming from.

Also if the form on your blog is > 300 px wide you can use the facebook form so that you collect the facebook details of your subscribers. This would look a bit different, but if you have a big following on facebook it may help conversions?
