Default My 100th Post - Finally Something Useful For Warriors..

Hi again Warriors, in celebration of my 100th post on WF, I have decided to spill the beans on one of the many secrets on how i get great conversions on my Youtube videos. Its a very simple yet effective strategy, and I am sure there are quite some folks already implying this tactic into their video marketing efforts. Here is how it goes:
Once you have uploaded your video on youtube telling your viewers to go to your website url link, show the video to 3-4 of your closest friends 1st. Then, tell them to post a good text comment about your website, if they like it. Thats all there is to it. Simple, yet deadly effective. Expect a 20-25% rise in conversions. Hope you enjoyed this post, thanks

Google owns YT.

Google loves YT.

Google bot lives on YT.

Google bot loves new content on YT.

Effectively you create a Markov Engine when people comment on your videos.

No, actually what i meant was, adding comments wont boost your video views. However, what i intend to put across is, if your video viewers see good comments about your website, they will be inclined to click as well

You're really killing two birds with one stone, there. You have the comments that help boost views, and you have the social proof that gets people to visit your site. Nice tip. :-)

It seems warriors seem to give their best contribution here on their 100th post. I have been using those strategies as well, and yes, they do work well, sometimes even giving me 50% conversion traffic rates. Look out for warriors on their 99th post!

Good strategy thanks for sharing. Do you link your videos to your sales page or a squeeze page?

Great tip. In fact, same goes for article submission to places like Squidoo for example. I'm not sure whether there is a Warrior Squidoo group but I joined an IM support group on Squidoo a while back and the concept is basically that you get and give support to each others articles by submitting rating and comments on the Squidoo lenses. This helps bring up the ranking of the lens pretty well.

Good way to get more conversions, sometimes the obvious things are missed.

On a related note YouTube tracks the percentage of watchers who comment, the ratings they leave and if the percentage of people who watch the entire video as part of the search algorithm. We did a live test / case study in Social Traffic where we catapulted our Google Friend Connect video past Google's own developer videos.

You can read the post and watch the video of the case study here:

Usually i direct the visitors to a squeeze page, but sometimes also to a blog page. Depends on the video.

Thanks hidman for sharing. I don't know much about youtube, but eventually I will venture into that market...when I do, I now know what to do.

Congrats on your 100th post.
