Purchase and a Subscription at the same time?

I'm looking for a service where I can set up a Purchase along with a 30-day trial of another product. I'm looking for something that is very inexpensive or free. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Could you explain that a little bit more, please...

    Sure, absolutely.

Say your prospect is buying Product X and you offer a Monthly product Y to go along with it. They have a free trial for 30 days and then you will start recurring billing at $x.xx per month. What I'm wanting to do is have this combined. For instance, I am currently using paypal to do the transactions, and I don't believe you can combine transactions in this way.

Does anyone know how to do this with Paypal, or should I just find another way to process trans?

Thankyou. Hope that clarifies a bit.

Easiest way, and usually most profitable, is to offer product X free if you sign up for the membership site. If they don't want that then have button for product only.

      Think about this.

It'll increase your sales more that the way you want to do it.

If not, redirect them to the membership after Paypal purchase and offer a bonus and free 30 day trial.

Packaging both a product and a membership site is bad because you alienate those that just want the product and those only interested in the membership site.

What you're really doing (from paypal functionality standpoint) is setting up a subscription. You could make a subscription button, with a 'trial' period which is the initial purchase price, then have a recurring (after the trial period) charge in a different amount.

I'm not at a computer where I'm comfortable running through the step by step at the moment (i.e. I'm not at my home or office, so I don't want to log into Paypal) to put together a step by step.

But this is the simplest way to do this I think.

It's easy. Just set up a subscription where the trial price is the price of product X and the recurring part is the monthly price of Y.

PayPal allows for two trial periods. You could set trial period 1 at the price of Product X and set the period length to 1 day, then set trial period 2 to free and for 30 days, then set your recurring rates for Product Y as the normal recurring period.

This way you get the one off sale that leads directly into a free trial and monthly recurring subscription all from one payment process.

Customer A enters bemine.com and buys a friendship ebook through paypal as a normal transaction.. On the return customer A is sent to a page that shows a trial membersip for the bemine social club (some information can be pre-filled in from the already purchased ebbok) then customer A fills out registration and goes through the paypal process of setting up the subscription.

I assume this is what you want ...

Johnny, I don't see why you would need 2 trial periods for that.

Why not have 1 trial with the price of X that is 30 days, with a recurring price of Y?

I've never seen the need for 2 trial periods.
