Is my Header ok? Web Deisgner's Advice Needed

Can I please get some feedback on this header, Im no expert with photoshop so any advice will help : ) Thanks!

Hi

I had a quick look at your header. It looks ok, but the small purple text looks a little out of focus. Try playing around with the anti aliasing to see if you can make it crisper.

Maybe try without the word "your" also, so that the smaller text fits in with the larger text.

Oh Please ignore the blur, it only happened once I uploaded to this forum - think it got shrunk a tad. I will see how it looks without the your : )

The Header looks nice to me. The search word is cute however do not forget that the more the visitor has to think what it means ,the sooner he will leave your site.

I would honestly strip jokerman font and use TW cen MT condensed, with bold applied to it. Also, I would make the search a little more recognisable.

I have to agree, the word 'search' is cute, but it doesn't really look like the word 'search'. I wonder if you could perhaps include a couple more letters and less people or something to make it more recognisable.

Other than that I really like it - I like the word LIVE with that font I think it looks good.

i like it, clean and minimalistic.

but i could not read the last word - so it's kind of a problem, people like to understand from their first look where they arrived at.

Looks good, but no need to use that size, save it as png, with transparent background, then it'll be resizable to say 750px, simply align it in the middle for smaller browsers/resolutions

I agree. If you didn't have that caption beneath your logo, I would've never know you were trying to say 'search' using the silhouettes of people.

It looks good, except for that one part.

I agree with Matt. Need to b change the font of the word "Live" & the word "Search" is not clearly radeable or in other words not recogised easily.

Ok, much better but...

The tag line is redundant to the banner, and needs to be something more exciting. How about something like...

"They're out there somewhere"
"Investigation nation"
"Where are they now"
"Anybody, anystate"

Also, this layout brings to mind Google, which is good, but I would resize/bold the search box and main description to make it more prominent, then add some spacing and then rest of the stuff (smaller text), which to me is adding distraction to conversions anyway.

I really want to make it clear that its Free, thats why I picked the current slogan. Sure there are paid services on this site, but the main function is free for the user.
