I have a dilema, Google trends

Hi,

I have been looking for niches for a while until I decided maybe people are right..maybe I should just start wth what I enjoy and know a bit about. So I made a list of things I could have on my site about my chosen niche.

But when I went to look on Google trends, the niche has been in steady decline year after year, I put if down to Youtube as the main reason. People dont use Google for information now as they can put keywords in Youtube and be shown what they want with a nice video.

MY niche may also be saturated as its about guitars (no reason to hide from you,there are plenty of sites around about this)

So Should I be ignoring the trend and do it anyway or just look for another niche?

    Go to a niche where your interests and hobbies are related with. You can't go wrong with that.

      Well I was thinking that I can go wrong with it. There are many guitar sites for all sorts, information, lessons , reviews and many authority sites. I dont know if its clever to start one of my own now especially with the trend falling constantly for passed few years..
