Securing Data and Downloads on your Website?
Hi Everyone,
I am getting ready to finally launch one of my products and I have a question about securing my downloads. I am really worried about security as I know that people can do advanced searches in google and easily find ebooks, books, and downloads not intended for general use by the public. I don't think people realize this is possible. In fact, I noticed a couple things I had uploaded to Godaddy in the past were available this way. My question is how do I secure my download areas? Is there a easy way to do this? Can I hide my ebook packages and downloads? Or do I just use a hard to decipher link? Cloaking?
