article ideas software or similar

I was recently listening to somebody on youtube, from a couple of years back speaking about creating a new website. In an effort to write articles relating to whatever the subject matter the website was on, he used, in the course of this demonstration, a software called “article ideas”. Now this looked like a very cute thing, and I didn’t know such things existed. Anyway, upon doing a search for this on the web, it appears that whatever copies exist out there for “free download”, have been re-engineered and have become cripple-ware, you click on it, it takes you to the site of the person selling whatever internet product, an the software will work once, if you’re lucky.

I would like to state before anything else in this request, to diffuse the amount of criticism that some will feel incumbent upon them to mete out, let me dispel your diffidence, your doubt, your fears and your foreboding about this issue, by saying that I’ve no interest in plagiarizing anybody’s content, I’ve no interest in copying anybody’s content, or finding the “easy way out” to write articles. Article writing is serious business, and I would not glibly (or airily, if you prefer) engage in any sort of copying the honest work of another. (this is my comical attempt to keep people from going off in tangents, like a bad geometry class).

That being said, I just found the software interesting, there is a novelty factor about this, just from the point of view of being able to do this, and I wonder if since then (this video was from 2010) anyone else came out with some variation on this type of software. There were a couple of softwares advertised at one point in the forum, however, they are no longer selling it. Any info appreciated, thanks.
