Hello .
So i started this website about 6 months ago , it's a funny pictures blog .
I get about 6000 visitors daily and 30.000 pageviews .
Traffic comes mostly from google , social sites , and returning visitors .
At the end of the month ads up to aproximately 120.000 visitors and about 800.000 pageviews , Google adsense brings me over 300 euros monthly and its growing each month , this month ive made almost 400 euros .
I just feel i could do more money with this website , but dont know what method to use or other thing besides Adsense.
I am confident it will make more with Adsense but i just wish i could try something else too.
What would you do? What would you try if you had it?
Maybe someone has a good ideea that i didnt think of?

Thanks for your advice.
Cheers , Nick.

Joke/funny niche are making less with adsense. Try to promote Amazon products "weird, strange, odd" products and see the result.

I second the funny/weird Amazon products idea. There are tons of sub-$10 products that I think your audience would be interested in.

      Second this!

Wouldn't strongly suggest you capture the leads. You can do so much more once you build that list. But yeah CPA (Cost Per Click) is another route for you.

All this involves is sending your traffic to offers that require your leads to take one of more actions. Like "fill in your email address to win a FREE IPAD"

Get an opt in form onto your website and test different version's/colours. Also use a pop-up on your webiste. If your using wordpress you can use a free script. If not then get a copy of pop-up domination.

Capture your leads and move them onto products and services. When you own your own list you can recyle the traffic to were ever you want.

First of all, you have a great site!!! I'm laughing already...lol

You could try to build a list and offer them even more funny pics and other whacky stuff. After you build your list you can possibly promote affiliate/cpa/ or even your own product.

Go to google and type: yourterm+ affiliate program and see what kind of programs are out there. EX: "joke products + affiliate program" , "funny t shirts + affiliate programs" . Keep looking and see what you can find.

You have lots of traffic coming in on a daily basis and should make more money IMO. Good luck!!!

CPA offer might work. I doubt amazon will, if they're looking at funny pictures they probably won't be in the mind for spending money. Give it a go and see what happens for a month. Test a few ideas out and see what happens. With that kind of traffic you can get an idea of what works and what doesn't.

You're getting alot of traffic from what you say. Do you feel that your Adsense income is fitting for the amount of traffic that you're doing? Ever tried readjusting/revamping your site to see if you can make more money?

I would try sitting back and looking at your site from a potential "buyer" perspective. If you were a visitor to your site, what would your first impression be? Would the idea of spending any money on the site even cross your mind?

Just food for thought! I always try to sit back and look at things from another person's perspective.

Your perspective would change rapidly and I guarantee you WOULD like it if it was making you a bucket load of money.

        What country are you based?

For a funny pictures site, I wouldn't recommend trying a CPA > squeeze page model. I think you'd find very quickly that people visiting a funny pic site aren't very well "niched" (i.e. it will be hard to interest them in particular offers, since they aren't coming to shop and you have no idea what type of products/offers they would be interested in)

If I were you, I'd check out different ad networks (see John Chow's blog for suggestions).

Someone mentioned t-shirt ads...that might be good (I see you already have one).

Check out high-traffic sites for their design and how they mix in ads. icanhascheezeburger and its affiliated sites would be a good starting place. thechive.com is another.

It looks to me like a page redesign is in order..seems like you have a lot of space that is unused/inefficient if you want to monetize.

    Good luck!

I agree with alot of the above,

    1) Get an opt-in form and start trying to capture emails, then promote

    2) Link to some amazon/kindle books with your affiliate link!

    3) Write/draw a book for kindle (now the kindle fire has been released which displays colour diagrams)

It's pretty risky to have only one source of income. It's riskier when this income comes only from the big G.

I would try different things to see what works best for me except Google Adsense.

    - Various Clickbank products (weight loss, dating, making money online etc)
    - CPA offers (the same niches as the CB products)
    - Amazon products (games, board games, trick games, magic tricks tutorials etc)

Go and see what works best for you.

Hello Dimitris , Is it ok to use Google Adsense as well as Clickbank products at the same time?

      Cheers , Nick.

You can try to sell ad spaces to advertisers. You can either do the process by your own, or you can use 3'rd party services like BuySellAds.com.

If you for example offer 4 ad spaces on your site for $49 each per month, these four ad spaces can bring you in an extra $200 per month.

You can name the ad spaces "Advertise Here!" and hope that some of the visitors that's seeing them may contact you about advertising. And when you get 6000 unique visitors a day, I don't see any problem to get advertisers.
