featured image and excerpt issue, need help!

I posted early but was able to solve the issue, but now I am experiencing a new set of issues. You can see in image one what my issues are, the second image is from another blog using the same theme.

Please Help

    Brent,

    You can easily adjust the size of the image by going to "media" and setting the actual size you want. It can change for the same image in different posts or pages. You can change the featured image size as well.

    The reason the "read more" is under the image is this: Your image is positioned to the left border which pushes all the text next to it to the right. But as soon as the text no longer is pushed to the right due to the vertical size of the image, then the text moves back to the left margin. A quick fix would be to add a couple more sentences of text to your paragraph and the "read more" should then be found at the end of your text.

    I took Steve's advice and got it worked iut, I was using too small of an image for the featured image, once I tried a large image it turned out perfect.
