Q: Google Dance or Google Slap?

Hello again

I created a website and got it to rank on the first page rank 6-7, then 1rst spot for a day yesterday before it got sent to page 11, then 16 as of right now...

Can anybody let me know if this is a dance or slap, and the reasoning behind your answer please? I would really appreciate an opinion on this matter...thanks!

I may be wrong, but I think Google is "slapping" you...

There are other warriors on here that can give you better answers...

    Or answers in detail, sir...

From what you posted on here, it seems to me like a slap.

A great Warrior on here named Jay Deiboldt has a course that teaches you how to "slap" Google back if they slap you...

    I recommend it personally...

After all, if someone slaps you in the face for no reason whatsoever, won't you slap them back?

    What makes Google any different...LOL...

    Hope this helps...

    Pavon

    Hey Charles,

You probably won't find out until Google finishes its updating because many serp listings are now bouncing around too much. I'd wait for the dust to settle before making any major changes. It may be that G isn't sure where you should be placed.

If I did something to improve the listings right now, I'd go get some very good backlinks to sites or blogs that relate to yours.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but saying he got slapped is a bit premature in this case no?

Charles, how old is the site? Knowing this goes a long way to better understanding what may or may not have happened to you. Cheers

my site is about a week old and all the ranking changes happened within a 2-3 day period...

as of right now the site isnt indexed anymore, i didnt do anything but get some backlinks (i hear google counts backlinks at their leisure, correct me if Im wrong...) and used social bookmarking to help it get indexed faster but nothing extreme, which is why this makes no sense to me...

I appreciate all the opinions so far btw

Your site is not being slapped my friend. Your site is doing the cha cha (and maybe a salsa) with google. Give it a few days and I almost guarantee it will settle into a good rank. Keep doing what your doing. Nothing to see here.
