[Newbies Should Read This] What Internet Marketing Really Is
Technically, Internet Marketing in itself isn't a business, its just a means to an end. Whatever you plan to do via IM is a business. Once you start thinking that way, things will start making sense to you. No matter what business you're into whether it is CPA, offline marketing, affiliate marketing, product creation etc. They all follow one simple idea.
Provide Value
Profit
What most newbies end up doing is taking a piece of the airplane, boat, horse, and legs just to go around in circles.
This is also where the majority of newbies go astray. During the 'research phase' they stumble upon a brand new idea and start chasing after that one, soon enough they come across yet another new 'shiny object'.
GROW
All you really need to do is Just find something that works and put it on steroids.
Your Internet Business is your baby. You nurture it and grow it, once you start profiting, you scale it. Internet Marketing is an ever changing journey where you learn and grow. It may take you a week, a month or years to reach your goals but I guarantee you, once you do, you'll always set new goals. You just never stop.
So here's my story:
I started out three months ago, like many newbies, I was chasing dreams, distracted and disappointed. I lurked the Warrior Forum soaking up all kinds of information and I was just overwhelmed. Information Overload.
It was only when I stopped, sat down and committed to one method (List building) I finally changed my life for the better. I'm not going to claim I suddenly became rich or anything, far from that.
The first week was terrible, spent a lot of money on Solo Ads only to get a list of freebie seekers. No profit, in fact, I lost money. The second week wasn't too good either.
But I kept at it.
I started tweaking my methods, finding new sources of traffic, finding better ways to improve my sales funnel. Strategically structure my email marketing to make more sales.
I finally broke even at the end of the first month. After that, I started seeing some profit, albeit small but profit nonetheless.
More tweaking, more research and study, improvements here and there.
Now I crank out about $60 a day and its steadily growing.
So guys, don't give up. Stay consistent and focused. Its a business you're building and not a scheme. Good Luck to all you Newbies out there!
Cheers,
Marco
