Are there any genuine PPC Experts/Guru's out there?

New to this forum - hope this is the right place for this post.

I've been sitting on a valuable product by a bestselling health/fitness author for the last year or so and not marketing it at all because I'm too busy running my (offline) business.

The product is fully downloadable, backed by genuine testimonials, and has a broad market appeal. The website and payment processing is set up and operational - I just need to get traffic (don't we all!)

I've made attempts at getting in touch with adwords specialists about setting up PPC campaigns for me and they all shy away when it comes to the topic of weight loss saying... "the field is way too competitive" etc

One guru told me that he doesn't even manage adwords campaigns - he only teaches people how to use adwords because that's where the money is. I then asked him if he uses adwords to get his clients... he said no..."I make most of my sales selling off the platform at seminars"!

But I know there is money to be made... just look at what the top health/fitness programs are bringing in on clickbank!

I am considering launching the product on clickbank BUT only when I have tried and tested marketing materials for affiliates to use. So at this point in time I am currently looking for a business partner who specialises in PPC - even better if you specialise in driving traffic to fitness/weight loss sites.

I've come to the realisation that if I don't find the right person to work on the PPC side of this project - then it is going to go nowhere.

So if I can find the right person I'm happy for a long term profit sharing arrangement to be put in place. In return you will create a successful PPC campaign driving traffic to the site. I will handle all the customer service site of things. I'm also open to any suggestions on changing the sales copy etc.

If you're interested in a potential partnership then just send through some info on your experience when it comes to PPC and I will email you a free login id for the site so you can see the product and we can take it from there.

    the product might be ok. you might have to accept a narrowing of the niches and change your beliefs a bit about "what will work". i hope you do well.

    btw:- i would not write an adwords campaign at my risk using keywords you like and advariants you approve of to send clicks to a home page you've written. because it's just too hard to make that work and be proveably self-funding. nothing to do with trust or your copywriting by the way, i say this because adwords works best and cheapest when all those elements are properly lined up into narrow niches - and it's highly unlikely that your current site (or your vision of how to get traffic) is structured that way.

    i might write a campaign using keywords chosen by me using advariants written by me sending clicks to a series of landing pages set up and tested... by me. then, if they do the business, you could buy the whole lot off me for a pre-agreed price... and send the traffic whereever you like.

    i'm sure you can find people here who can help - and almost all the gurus here have been at it longer than me and know a lot more than me and make more money online than me. so if i could do it, then they certainly could do with a blindfold on and one hand tied behind their back.
