Tracking Clicks from traffic - BudURL?

I was reading another post about someone tracking their traffic they were receiving on solo ads, they were tracking it with BudURL, does anyone know how this would work?

If you are supposed to get 500 clicks to your offer, how can you verify you have indeed received all that traffic using BudURL?

Thanks for your help !

For me, I never use a free service like Budurl. Too easy for the general public to see your stats and all the other horror you hear about with it. When I do my solos and adswaps, heck, even for my niche lists, I use a paid option. Personally, I use Hypertracker, but there are many out there.

Now this is totally a personal opinion, but I think the free tracking services just don't say professional to me. I really question when I get an email with a free tracking link. Nothing wrong with that at all, but not the best option in my mind.

    My $.02 anyway.

      John & CFK,

I am the founder of BudURL and I just stumbled onto this forum and thread. I thought I'd share a bit of info on our platform to clarify some questions:

      1. BudURL is a paid service. We charge because it takes money to do things right. We're not perfect, but we have been around for over 3 years and have grown every year. We're not anywhere close to closing down or turning off the lights.

      2. Our stats are 100% private. If you are paying us, why would we share your valuable information? What is yours is yours.

      3. You track your sources with BudURL by creating distinct links for each of your sources. We show the referrer so if your link gets copied/pasted somewhere else, you can follow where it goes.

      4. Our BudURL.Pro platform allows you to use your own domain name, but with all our great stats. If you've ever had issues with using a shared short domain, this allows you to operate your own, but you don't have to worry about the configuration, hosting, and management. It's easy - which is why we offer the domain name, Ez.com as an option.

      5. We have a large support library of helpful questions and we stand behind our products. If you have a question, please check out our online knowledgebase to browse other questions or ask your own by visiting the support page of our site.

Thanks for the opportunity to update y'all with some answers to your questions. If you have any other, please let us know.

      Thanks,

      Andy

I've been using Clickmeter to track my traffic and haven't had any problems so far.

They are also a free and paid (upgradeable) service, I've never heard of how people could see your stats without your acct id and password?

I've had a paid membership at budurl for 4 months and find it far superior to bit.ly
