Using JVZOO as a Payment Processor...

Looking for a payment processor that I can stick with for the long haul.

I've been hearing great things about JVZoo, but I'm skeptical so I'm hoping that some of you Warriors have some experiences to share with me.

What's makes it great or not so great? Can it still be used as a payment processor of you don't want to use affiliates?

Thanks in advance for your insight!

JVZoo isn't a payment processor. They are a payment gateway.

jvzoo isnt a payment processor.. they use paypal on the back end and are adding in others..

As a cart system they are excellent.. used them for over 8 months now and they have been exceptional so far

Thanks for clarifying that. I'm currently using Website Payments Pro (PayPal), but I'm having nightmares of the day if/when they freeze my account (I've heard horror stories).

What's the difference between Website Payments Pro & JVZoo if there even is one?

If you are referring to Paypal, it won't matter which gateway you are using.

Ouch, thanks for the insight. Hope I never go through that!

The difference, as pointed out, is that JVZoo is not a payment processor. Without a payment processor such as Paypal, it wouldn't do anything. It relies on Paypal to process the payments.

Paypal is the only payment processor you'll want to use. There are plenty others out there, but it seems like everybody in IM uses Paypal. I personally haven't tried JVZoo as a payment gateway, but I've heard lots of good stuff about it, so you may want to try them out. I also plan to do that in the near future

I love Jvzoo personally. The platform is very user friendly and you can use it for your own products hosted on your site plus site, plus WSO's. May not have as many affiliates as WSOPro, I haven't really compared that one, but for the most part I love it. Their list integration is nice too. I'm sure Bryan or Mr. Rose will add some more details for you.

Thanks! Can you elaborate on this list integration?

When a buyer makes a purchase they will be added to your list without the need to fill in an opt in form. I believe Aweber still requires the double opt in, but Getresponse does not. They're always adding new great features to their platform, like all the time. It's also nice that you can list product and grab your buy button for free.

Ok, that's cool. Definitely a helpful feature.

      Thanks for the info!

If you aren't interested in affiliates you should just get a program like DLguard.

If your concern is your Paypal being frozen - gateway providers like JVzoo or Warrior+ have nothing to do with that. Everyone who uses Paypal runs the same risk with getting frozen or terminated, etc.. If your product or service is acceptable, I'd suggest 2checkout to completely avoid being smacked around by Paypal. Best of luck!

I like JV Zoo because you can use it outside of the Warrior Forum and sell your products on your own websites.

You also get much better support with JV Zoo.
