An extra $200 this month, thanks to WF!

Just a quick thanks to the folks here on WF. I've only been on here for maybe 6 months or so, but I've learned a ton and have profited from it.

I took many of the techniques that I've learned here in WF and the WarRoom and applied them to a site that already was making me money from a product I produced and sold and saw nice increases in revenue.

On top of that, I started experimenting by adding affiliate offers and Amazon to my site.

This month was my best month ($200 just from Amazon and my Affiliate offers), which is basically free money because I did nothing but add the programs to an existing site that already had buying traffic.

For other folks struggling, I highly recommend two things:
1) Get the war room deal. Download as much as you can and read as much as you can offline.

2) Find the good posters, then go find all of their posts.

So again, thanks!

Did you put those offers on a page that also has your own product on it? What type of traffic increase did you experience this month if any?

The offers are on all of the pages of the site (including pages that let the customer browse/purchase my products).

The offers did not seem to impact additional traffic (and not sure why they would, the offers are are just banners, no SEO). I did nothing offsite to promote the offers.

I was just wondering if you had applied methods that were bringing in more traffic or if your existing promotions were bringing in more traffic this month than last.

I have always been in the camp of not competing against myself. I don't put others' offers on my own product pages. I don't even put more than one offer of my own on a page.

It makes me wonder if the traffic coming to your site was leered to the affiliate offers instead of buying your product. I am not being critical but wondering if I might should have tested multiple offers myself .. but since you already have lol .. leverage the test of others

The products complement each other. In fact, buying the affiliate product makes my product even more enjoyable.

Also, worth noting that I used the specialized Amazon widget which shows targeted items (presumably by using cookies) for your specific visitor. For example, if your visitor buys lots of video games on Amazon, even though your site is about building muscle, it will shows ads about video games.

For my affiliate offers, I chose products that very tightly matched my customers' needs, not just some random affiliate products that were loosely (or not at all) tied to my niche.

I think both cooperate very well.

Negligible difference in either direction. The only difference I've seen is an overall percentage increase to monthly revenue which is directly attributed to the additional banners.
