I have to buy something on ClickBank

What should I buy from clickbank for 20.00 or less?

EDIT: I "Have" to buy it in the sense that I need a sale on a master card, all my sale are with paypal and visa. just tired of waiting for someone to use a Mastercard to get my check.

Thought someone might have an interesting idea as to what I should get.

Are you buying through your affiliate link? Doing that
will up your actual spend quite a bit.

I am buying through my affiliate link, why would it make it more expensive, how should I go about it? I'm basically trying to get a sale on a master card.

    huh?

You "have" to buy something on clickbank, but you're asking us which product it should be..?

Sounds like you don't HAVE to buy anything then..

Why click bank? There are lots of other places to buy. My answer to you is buy what you need.... I think your question is too vague.

It was too vague, I updated the question to make a little more sense. I'm just looking for some fun or useful product.

Thats what it sounds like to me ... I didn't think you needed a sale on 3 different types of cards I thought it was just 3 different numbers? ... but I certainly could be wrong

Ya, I've met the 5 sales mark but they were paypal and visa. Paypal doesn't count so you have to have 5 sale with both a mastercard and visa in the mix.

Yes, indeed. You need one to qualify under the Customer Distribution Requirement? It all makes sense, now.

B.H. Cat has suggested one above. Or, if you like chocolate cake, I can recommend this one (it's a really good recipe): The World's # 1 Chocolate Cake (price $5, affiliate commission 40%). I know many people who have bought it through their own affiliate link in order to satisfy the CDR.

          Good luck!

Ahhhh I see ... The other thing you could do is as one of the other warriors pointed out that sometimes when you buy from your own link you may not get credit for it. Why not give the cash to a friend of yours and then ask them to use their credit card.

          Just my two cents!!

That has nothing to do with it being your own link.

Some affiliate tracking mistakes are made. ClickBank's system has never been 100% reliable, and still isn't.

It's a random error. In my opinion.

There are always a lot of "opinions" expressed about this subject. The facts are that you can buy through your own affiliate link, and that you can qualify under the CDR (or - under different circumstance - to avoid the dormant account charges) by buying a cheap product that way.

Vendors who don't like affiliates buying through their own accounts should sell their products elsewhere (and some of them do).

This is how so many of those "IM products" have such huge gravities: it's because each customer is buying a single copy that way and adding a point onto the gravity score in the process. It doesn't mean that anyone's actually promoting them. And it doesn't mean that the total number of sales is necessarily much higher than the gravity figure, either. It's easy to misinterpret these things.

That chocolate-cake recipe e-book I linked to above, at one time, used to make quite a significant proportion of its sales that way, because it was well known as a "good, cheap product to buy through your own link, if you need to". (That seems no longer to be the case now, judging by its gravity figure, perhaps because its price has gone up to $5 and there are cheaper products available for this purpose, including the one mentioned by our feline friend, above. I hasten to mention - if it needed saying - that I have absolutely no connection or involvement with either product, myself. I did once buy the chocolate cake one, but that was just because I didn't want to recommend it to anyone, even here, to buy through their own link, without trying it myself!).

That is exactly what it sounds to me like.

I would not do this. Don't spend your money on your account just to get those funds released.

I would wait to make a sale. Wait, don't wait for it. Just go out there and market what ever you want MASSIVELY and then more sales will come in.

      You can.

This is one of the main reasons for not promoting "IM products" at ClickBank, as an affiliate: so many of their potential customers are themselves CB affiliates, and they're going to pay through their own affiliate-links rather than that of another affiliate: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post2161932 (see point #1).

No. (And it's quite a common way of fulfilling the CDR).

Haha. I know a guy who bought through his own affiliate link and never got credit for it. So keep that in mind. Things don't always go as planned.

If you're going to spend money on anything, I suggest you actually figure out wth you need. Seriously. I never buy things just because I need too. Because you're going to buy some random crap, then 10 minutes later see something better. So before you jump into anything, sit down and try to figure out your own needs first.

Shouldn't be that hard to do (you are a marketer afterall right?).

You can try it. Often times they have algorithms though that see the same IP. IE you don't get paid. Let us know how it works.

I know it's an old thread, but if there still are people trying to find a cheap CB product, so they either avoid the dormant charges or to mee the CDR requirements, here's one at $3 and a whopping 60% commission:

Yeah - it's a law that made it through the house, through the senate, and signed by the president.. I heard he even did a signing statement saying it's illegal to have a friend do it for you as well..
