Getresponse is refusing to send out emails

Hi warriors,

this is a serious matter and i would love a great help.

I am in a middle of a launch that will be taking off tomorrow less than 9hrs from now and trsut me it would make lots of sales, i mean profits for me and my business.

Unfortunately for the first time since 2 years that i have been using Email Marketing, Autoresponder, Email Marketing Software - GetResponse i am finding it hard sending out emails-[i dont even know the problem exactly is].

Here is a brief,

I send out an email to my list and getresponse confirms that the mail has been delivered but i come back after 4hrs and then it shows that non of my subscribers have read it[though i personally get the mail]

What do you think is the problem?

    Low open rate.

If you're getting an confirmation email, then it's being sent out and there isn't a problem on GetResponse's side.

However, you can get a higher open rate by personalising email subject lines with the 'name' feature, and being vague about what's in the e-mail.

For example, a bad subject line would be:

"hey everyone, check out this new product"

Although, a good subject line would be:

"Hey {!name}, Do You Make This Same Mistake?"

Then go on to give an in-depth tip for a typical problem people have, and move on to how your new product can solve this problem.

    I hope i've helped.

    Good luck

    - James.

This is not LOW open rate. It is NO OPEN rate.

I think the messages are not being delivered. I have been using getresponse for sometime so i know what am saying.

Have you ever experienced it before?

And how did you go about it?

No sorry, never happened to me before as I use AWeber.

What was the e-mail title you used to send out the e-mail?

Also, open your copy of the e-mail, and see if it is tracked in the GetResponse control panel.

If it doesn't show up, then your e-mails are being sent, but there's obviously a problem with GetResponse's tracking service.

If you're getting the emails then it sounds like it's the open-rate tracking that's faulty or not set up correctly, rather than a delivery issue.

Less serious of a problem, but still a problem.

    Cheers,

The reason i think its a delivery issue is this: Normally when i send en email to my subscribers i always get replies from them...you know what i mean.

But this no mail from me and i am talking of a list of over 3,000 people.

    This is really strange.

I'd ask GetResponse about it if you're still unsure.

But as Neil and I said above, it's probably just an e-mail tracking problem on GetResponse's servers.

Also, if people mark your e-mail as spam (even if it isnt... people are lazy...), then it can lower deliverability as some ISP's start filtering your e-mails.

I haven't played much with GR open-rate tracking, but when
I've used it I got an open-rate report but it failed to track
    click-thrus.

I often track clickthroughs in GR with text emails with no problem.

Have a few dummy email accounts of your own on your list.

Then you will get exactly what your subcribers are getting (or not).

You can also see better, whether your emails are ending up in spam folders or not.

Then again...maybe...just maybe...it's because everyone is waiting with their finger on the trigger to get a free copy of Butterfly Marketing today.
They are so hosed right now...it's been postponed till 4pm... Then again...Nobody opening even one email...sounds like GetResponse customer support needs a call. Good luck,

when writing a title make sure it doesnt include keywords that spam companies would block including free product, special offer etc.

I changed the format of my weekly ezine earlier this week and was amazed by the difference in open rate.

I use getresponse and have not noticed any problem. Let me do some checking around and I'll get back to you if I can find out any useful info for you.
