Youtube Video Protection

I have a youtube video that I think might get copied and used to market the same product that I am. I was thinking of mentioning my website several times in the video and adding annotations to defer jackers. Does anyone have any other ideas?

    Hmm..this is a hard one. The only other thing that comes to mind will be to display the logo somewhere that can't be cut. Hope other warriors can give better suggestions.

    My videos are going to be short….like 2 minutes or less but not less than 1 minute. I will be able to say my url 3 times in my conversation that will be hard for someone to copy without directing people to my site….I would still like to hear other peoples ideas as well

    I don't think annotations will work for this...instead you should try watermarking the videos with your domain name. There are ways to get around watermarks if someone really wants your video, but they will deter most video thieves.

    If your videos are not labelled creative commons, people will not try to copy it. If they do, youtube will not publish those copied videos. Yes, watermarking is the only solution.

    Watermarking, make it change places during the video, so it isn't always stuck at one place, making it more trouble for jackers to edit out that part of the video. Also note that if you're using adsense for youtube, the ads are displayed at the bottom and so they will cover your url watermark if placed at the bottom, so it's better to put it at the top if you can't be bothered to make it change places during the video.
