Seriously am i the only person that doesn't like these thing's? I think they are all too long and not that interesting at all.

I like reading and finding what I need.

Also is there any deal proof they sell better?

When Do you think they will die off?

You're really in an arms race with everything viewers have ever seen when it comes to coming up with videos that are new and fresh. Being original is incredibly difficult. So, I just focus on video quality. I work hard on my videos. I try to provide practical info in a distinctive style. If you invest the time, they are an opportunity to show off the caliber of your brand.

You guys can hate all you want.

You realize that's like a fisherman saying he hates the taste of worms, right? It ain't about what YOU like. They're used for a reason.

If it works? Why hate? It's not about, it's about if it will benefit potential customers. They are always used for a purpose.

I love video sales letters. I like it when someone show me quickly through a video what type of content can I expect (without too many "ummm"s or pauses). I don't mind the story types either, as long as it gives me clear idea about the product.

The only type I hate are the ones full of drama and suspense, including the music. Pure rubbish. I just want to tell them- dude, there is no need for drama. Just tell me what you got or f$#@ off. Since I cannot say that (it is rude ) , I just close the window.

It depends on the content on the video itself.

If it is like interesting story where we are getting more and more curious to know more, then it doesn't matter with how long the video will be.

If the story is boring, I'll just leave and close it.

Like being said, it doesn't really matter what you hate, the fact is, the videos are more effective than just words. I mean, you can't really show off all these beautiful Lamborghinis and mansions "that you've earned by only working 1 hr per day" within a letter. It's a lot easier to show within a video

These stuff works on a lot of people, especially beginners, therefore everyone prefer to use them.

  • Both as a vendor and as a customer, I personally prefer video to text.

As a customer, I hate sales letters. I almost never watch them at all.
I like it when I am offered a choice between a video or written transcript.
Yes, it may only be my opinion but I am sure others agree from a customer viewpoint.

They target on someone who really want to know about the answers.
If the guy are willing to watch a video around 30 - 60 mins.
Mostly, they will buy the product.

Completely agree. I personally never click on ads. Don't like them, and never use them. But I am like 95% of people, that's why click through rates are what they are.

I run sales vids, and keep mine under 2 minutes each. Quick explanation, then put all the facts in text. I think anything over 2 minutes and it makes it easy for the viewer to disengage.

Die off? Are you even grounded in reality? Do you think
video is on the way out and we are returning to just long
    scrolling salespages?

Boring videos suck.... but have you tried scrolling
down 20 pages of a boring online sales page?

Tunnel vision is the fastest way to fail with marketing.
