Can anyone advise on a first things first decision?
well looking here and seeing my total posts zero, total blog entries zero, friends list..empty...and so on just screams testimony to the fact that I am yet another TOTALLY overwhelmed newbie. I love to read, but talk about information overload! Now I find myself second guessing what questions to even ask! Honestly I am intimidated and I as a rule I am not easily intimidated.
I have a website, and what I believe is a very unique product with an overseas supplier onboard. I have written my own ebook which I have for sale on my site due to the initial overwhelming and ongoing number of inquiries I have had for information. I know the information contained in my book is very in demand to a niche market. I have worked VERY hard and long hours to acquire and gather together the info. Presentation was not that great since I had done in on microsoft word, but today I downloaded the warrior PDF program and have it in PDF format which looks so much better. Thanks so much for that!!! Before today, I didn't have a clue how to even go about that! I have been studying the list of abbreviations so I can at least begin to clue in on posts too.
I have a not so professional website with Homestead which was initially free but is now costing me $50 a month....and I am stuck with no clue on what to do next in order to effectively get this website or another one out there so it can be found. My ebook could really use some polishing too to make it what it should be. I have been pulling in several sales for my ebook ongoing for several months now even with my website being next to non-exisitent on the web. I did bid on some yahoo and google ad words some time back, but I'm not sure that I'm even doing that effectively.
All in all, I would like to know if any of you out there would be so kind as to give me some guidance and suggest what I might consider doing with a very limited amount of money that would ensure I make at least some progress?
My budget is super tight but if I were to choose a first things first step...what direction should I go? I have seen so many avenues that could sap my pittance of resources very quickly. So, reeling around in my head is ...do I have someone make my website more professional looking? Should I join an affiliate program to help promote my product ....if so what one? Buy some blog coaching material ? Buy copyrights for my ebook ? Hire a coach or mentor? Get better graphics or buy a professional ebook cover? and so on! I feel like I'm a non swimmer about to step into deep water without a life jacket.
I have been an entrepreneur all my life breathing life into new business ventures and that has been my passion. Always been my own boss, creating an income by being creative and just going for it. So I know about hard work, long hours and the things it takes to make any business a success. I've also raised five kids as a single Mom and kept a roof over their heads throughout the years through my business endeavors. So that tells me with the help of the Warriors here, I can certainly somehow, some way gather the information and do what it takes to make this newest endeavor a success too. Help!! I know I'm going to enjoy the journey to becoming a successful warrior.
Thanks,
Leilani
