How about giving free ebooks that your targeted niche is interested in? This potentially creates lots of viral traffic.

An alternative to ezinearticles is squidoo which is free and instant approval.

How about yahoo answers? contribute solutions to your target audience and link back to your own website.

organic traffic = Also known as natural traffic, when there are multiple links from other sites like directories, blog, ezinearticles, squidoo, youtube, facebook, social bookmarking etc... linking to your own website which is seo, major search engines like google and yahoo will rank your website in 1st page.

The result is that your website will be getting loads of FREE traffic and hence higher chances of making a sale.

I like to use Digg and the social networks to generate interest in articles that I've written. I've found that as long as teh article itself is non-commerical in nature than those communities are actually quite accepting of them.

I've found that article submission to ezine etc hasnt generated as much traffic as I would have liked although thats likely down to my keyowrd choice

Create a pdf report and select a very attractive filename. Build a list off it and reuse the traffic over and over. Then put it to ebook directories + file sharing networks. With proper filenames it should spread like wildfire and provide a long term traffic. Works very well in lucrative niches.

Wow - this is an excellent thread for newbies - well done everyone.

Being a newbie to internet marketing can be quite daunting because obviously traffic=sales - end of - but newbies sometimes don't have the funds to "buy" traffic and find it very difficult to get good free traffic.

Even though I use most of the free traffic shown - I have learnt a few other ways through this thread.

Also writing review sites on Blogger is an excellent free traffic source ( I have found anyway) and using that then for linking to affiliate links
