what's all this hype about six figure income?

Hello everyone,

I am unemployed and I have been trying to make money online for quite sometime now and any program that i try seems to be ending me nowhere. I have had it with all the promises of six figure bulls. Sometimes I wonder whether there is any one out there that genuinely cares for people. I just feel that a lot of people out there are making false claims of earning online. I hope someone can realistically show me how to make money online. What am i looking at when I want to start a career in online marketing? what are the risks? etc

I would appreciate if anyone can help me out. Is there any True Warrior out there?

While it is possible to strike it big and make 6 figures without keeping at it for years and years, it's best to just focus on getting things done, building yourself up and learning as much as you can as you go. With lots of hard work, you will get many rewards. Too many people give into the hype from self proclaimed guru's and bounce from one thing to another. Focus on your own interests and build some sites up for a long time, that you will want to keep, so that you have a foundation under you while you explore things that pop up along the way. I'm happy to continue further discussions and give you lots of tips and help getting started, maybe a hosting account if you need one, and some things you can resell or market for commissions, but right now I have to go to bed! Feel free to send me a PM or add me on skype.

    Hey Wapang,

What you've been experience are all the 'Get Rich Quick' Gimmicks that are introduced to you by 'Guru's'. These are almost always going to be bull****, and are simply overpriced, re-hashed, basic information, with useless software to keep you paying monthly.

Almost all of us have been caught in it at some point or another.

There are Thousands of people that Genuinely care about your success in IM, and you will find a good amount of theme here on WF, however almost every Clickbank product that you find now is BS.
Warrior Special Offers can also get you going through the Buy and not Apply phase, making you no money, just costing.

What I honestly recommend (I've been in IM For just over a year now, and I'm finally starting to see some results), is that you find a type of IM that you like, and then either research it, try it, or purchase ONE WSO on it, and then take action on it.

You will almost definitely go through Trial and Error, making mistakes that only experience will prevent, however I can tell you now, that it's worth it, and you will be glad you put in the time now.

What your looking at starting a career in IM, is a lot of work (despite what the gurus say), and a lot of trial-and-error, however if you are persistent and dedicated enough, a good payoff, as well as Your own hours and no boss.

The Risks? The only risks are simply the time and money you put into buying any WSO's / Guru Products and Any Materials said product requires you (Domain / Hosting will be common), however for the experience they provide, It is such a small price to pay.

If you want to talk more about the different routes you can take, add me on Skype dylan.hubel.motiv and put a note saying who you are. You can also just PM me.

    Best of Luck,
    Dylan

    Hi Wapang

Unfortunately there are many products out there wich talk about 6 figure paycheques.
Im not denying some are true but many use huge figures to draw you in for a sale.
they play with your mind by making you think "if he/she is earning that then so can I"

so you find yourself buying a product, alot of the time ends up really bad.

If you want to earn money online you need to start from the ground up.
I would say 90% of people who start out (myself included) end up buying usless products.

lets just say you wanted to make furniture.
you would need to learn the tools of the trade and understand how each tool works and how you can use it.

The same goes for the internet
you need to learn the tools of the trade, then once you know and understand these you can start building a business online.

"earning money online is a marathon not a sprint" so dont fall for those products claiming to make you tons in a matter of weeks.

A great start is to learn how to build you own website.
Then start to understand traffic driving methods.

obvioulsy there are many different ways to earn money online so it depends on what you have in mind.

anyway PM if you have any questions around building websites

    regards
    Tim

Aiming for a 6 figure income online is a bit exaggerated for a
newcomer. I don't see how a newcomer could make that sort
of money online, not unless he already has lots of money to
spend. Aim for a more realistic amount first and keep increasing
it; that way you won't give up.

Well, the problem is that you, like many newbies, believe the hype and believe that there is a push button system to make money online. You also believe that there is a step by step blueprint to follow to make money online.

    There is not.

You need to read the forum, research and decide which way to make money you'd like to try. Then go back and start reading and asking questions about that method and learn everything you need to know.

It's entirely up to you which business you decide to launch, but if you're just in it for some quick cash, you'll most likely keep spending cash instead of making it. The people who succeed have worked hard to build an online business and have learned all they need to know about that business. They create their own blueprint.

I know you read all the hype and fake income claims, but I would seriously suggest that you stop that now. Join the War Room for $37 (one time fee) and all the info in there is free.

    Hey Wapang,

I've been at this for a few years now. But what does "Been at this" actually mean? I'd like to believe I've done enough to make an income from this but in reality I haven't done sh*t. Fiddled around with a few methods and did spend money on new courses and such but really never pushed long enough to see some real results. It's not for the feint of heart. IMO.

Getting the website up is easy... The hard part is sticking with it even when there are no sales. Which is where I fail every time.

The risks? I feel like you have everything to gain. If you put in some good hard work, I don't doubt you could make a good income. But you have to get started now. Find a road and follow it and see where it goes..

The warrior forum is an awesome place with TONS AND TONS of information. Who needs to buy a course when there's millions of threads with free advice on almost every method...

    Hope this helps a bit.

A six figure income wont come to you if you continue to buy IM products and move from one thing to another without even testing!

There is no secret method - no underground loophole - no mysterious software - NONE of this BS make money for you! It only makes the product creator rich!

Easiest is to pick a method and work on it until it make you money! After it generates income...you scale it and see if the income is consistent and if it is enough for your work! If you feel you can do better...let the method work without you and try something different!

Why don't you share with us what you've tried so we know whether it really is "the six figure bulls" that are to blame, or whether it might actually be you who is the problem?

    Hi,

The main problem in IM is to stay in focus.
you must make some kind of a rule to yourself that you are not
going to buy any other WSO's until you finished what you already bought!
This will keep you more in focus and prevent you from jumping from one product to another!
But It doesn't mean that you have to stop reading WSO's sales page!
Read them just to stay updated with new things going on in IM!

    Hope this helps,

As the young Cat above has correctly stated :-) it could be an issue with how you *think* you are going to get to higher earnings, without doubt there are many high IM earners.. BUT it is a *long game* if you do make it big, quick, the only way to keep it, is to do it all over again and again!

7 figures is the target, 6 is such an unlucky number we should know!

And really, this isn't for everyone. Some people are just better suited for normal jobs. Everyone here likes to encourage someone to keep trucking after years of trying and nothing but losses.

I say if you've been at it for 2-3 years and you haven't started making more than you are spending, then enough is enough. Quit. It's not for you.

But if some of you would just develop some skills to offer services, you would make it, no doubt. Too many of you are swinging for the fences over and over and it just doesn't work like that.

Promises? Of course, why would any program promise you anything other than success? It's your job to sift through all the B.S and stop falling for the get rich quick schemes.

Here's one way of doing things...
Buy, or create an eBook to give away as a bribe to capture email addresses.
Create a landing page where you put an opt-in form to capture those email addresses of your visitors.
Drive traffic to that page through free and paid methods (preferably paid methods)
Market similar products to the list you build by sending out weekly emails to them.
Rinse and repeat until you have a large list of responsive buyers.
Always provide value for free at first to help build that initial trust with your prospects, and keep providing value for the length of the relationship.

Of course, you can't expect to just jump right in and start making money straight away. It took me a full year before I began to make some real money online, but if you learn the above steps completely, you will cut that down by half... at least.

The devil is in the details, but the overall process doesn't need to be complicated. You sound like an opportunity seeker who can't stick to one strategy until you have proven it do work, or not.

    wapang,
You have a pain point, and the advertisers and marketers have hit it perfectly. When you need something to happen we tend search for quick answers and fast solutions to our problems. Making enough money to be free is a goal of most people.

However, in all my years I have not found one get rich quick scheme that worked for me. Yes I have spent a lot of money on them too.

Several years ago I gave up on the idea of a get rich quick scheme and went back to the basics.

For 30 days I wrote an ebook on attracting a relationship based on my own personal experience. Everyday I worked for 2 hours on that book. Then I spent another 20 hours on a sales page and clickbank offer. Three months later I had my first sale for $29.95. I was excited to say the least. My idea worked and it sold, but I did not get me rich. Over the lifetime of the product I made about $300. It taught me to keep trying. I realized that if I take it into my own hands things can work. It takes effort for sure.

Make a decision to commit to yourself, your ideas and your talent. Then find a way to start sharing what you know - maybe an ebook can work for you too.

To make $100,000 per year you need a truckload of traffic and then some. Ask this person to show you his bandwidth bill and he will run out of the room. Believe me on this one.

I know a person who had a forum with half a million members and his bandwidth bill was $50,000 per month and he had a farm of servers. Also, a team of people updating his programs. AND, deleting all the spam. This why he cannot sleep at night with all the headaches he has over bugs in his programs.

People forget that very few viewers = no money. If you want to make some green... Get ready to work full time on this and then some more. Show me your bandwidth bill says me. This month on one of my forums I went over my daily bandwidth allotment and was shut down by the web hosting company. Expect to have hackers smash your site often once it becomes a big one. It is not bed of roses.

If you're running a forum yes, but making 100k online doesn't require the kind of traffic you're talking about.

In fact, you don't need lots of traffic you just need the RIGHT traffic. Quality not quantity.

First of all, do not concentrate on those six figures income methods. Those will lead you towards nothing but frustration because only a few lucky people online are making such income. They were newbie once when they started but their hard work lead them towards this state. You should better continue your hard work by targeting one earning technique.

This about it. If someone is claiming a large income, and they're selling you something cheap about how get there, why would they do it? After all, if they're really making that kind of money, why are they messing around with a $7 WSO?

Someone making that kind of money isn't going to give away their secret cheap.

It depends on what their system entails of. If it's something which can't get saturated which most methods are then someone isn't going to have a problem revealing it. Also, some methods although they work are very time consuming to run and implement so some people would rather tell others how to do it so they can get on with other things.

They mess around with a $7 WSO to build a list and promote future products to their list, as well as build a reputation for offering value.

    Hi Wapeng,

I think youve hust finished taking your first step... realising all the hype and promises is just that. Buy this product/WSO etc and make 100000+... It's not going to happen. The next step on this journey is realising that with lots of learning and hard work income is possible.

Pick an area, focus on it and JUST DO IT. From my own experience this is the difficult bit. Starting. Many here will say to work with your passion; I'm not so sure but it probably makes it easier. But once you do it money becomes a by product. If money (especially 100000) is your focus then how can you make anything work.

Who ever opens a shop or business with an intention to earn 100K each year etc! You do the business, and that generates the money. No different than offline. And it requires work too. Realise that and you're on your way.

    Good luck.

Wapang I know your pain, I tried researching on other forums before or message board and even on searches about finding answer that would help me.

Instead I got people who were just marketing their own product, telling me that I had to buy their book.

Its very difficult, even a lot of the books on the market are garbage, I bought several from Amazon to help with online business and it was basically just the same basic advice you can get, nothing really helpful like step by step instructions.

The problem is that most people forget about one aspect of IM - the marketing part.

Lots of guides advocate action, action, action. When really, you should learn how to market. This is the reason why most newbies fail. They find a guide, mimic what the author has done and don't know the first thing about marketing. Then they launch the product or the method and wonder why they don't have the same results.

It's a continuous learning process. Some are lucky to break through a massive market in the beginning but it is always composed of hard work, persistence and the basic marketing knowledge.
