free video editing software?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hey guys,

anyone know of some free video editing software?

I have an mpeg2 file that I recorded with my video
camera. All I really need to do cut some of it out,
no fancy stuff needed.

You can just get a trial version of Sony Vegas... good for
24 days or something and has full funtionality.

  There's a lot to learn about video that's for sure.
  
  I tried a bunch of free programs but couldn't find one
  that actually worked well for me.
  
  I just ended up getting a trial version of Sony Vegas
  and finally figuring out how to use that for the simple
  things I needed to do.
