Encouraging Positive Behaviour

Just wondering how many warriors say thanks or reward people for doing a simple task?

Here's some examples of things that could improve your relationships.

#1 Video welcome message thanking your new subscriber for double opt-in
#2 Personal e-mail to an affiliate who makes you a sale
#3 If someone comments on your blog visit their blog and leave your own comment.
#4 Retweet good blog posts
#5 Any random act of kindness

Would welcome some other ideas and examples.

Thanks

      How about some of these?

Leave the upsells and cross sells off the thank you and confirm pages.

Place an unannounced bonus on your thanks and confirm pages- a real one, not an affiliate link to somebody else's email list.

Tell people they are in the right place for the action they have taken and make sure your image branding is in place and consistent across all your pages. You don't want anyone to wonder if they are in the right place after having done the right thing

Don't redirect to a sales page from a thank you or an optin

Make and send out a special product just for the people on your list, without any calls to action in it.

When they join your FB page, post about it, and thank them no matter what number fan they are.

I wish more of the so called guru's practised some of this. Some people think they are actually providing you with value by emailing you about a new product that you can find quite easily yourself. Mail me a free tip, strategy or idea and perhaps I will be more inclined to click your link.

        Michael, these are FABULOUS suggestions...

I'm fed to the teeth with getting tossed through
a bloody maze of sales pages and upsells and OTO's

with getting email that reads "just click here for your
free gift" and having to run the gauntlet of "this is
ONLY $7 for this piece of crap, useless tool"...

Would that more sellers learned this....

Again, thanks for posting this message

Offer a free gift (with no pitch) from time to time from customers who buy from you repeatedly.

    Great suggestions..

    Please and Thank You
are probably the words I use
    most in a day...

It's always great to learn more ways
    to appreciate people.

    Thank you many bunches
