I know that it take a lot of work and time to get traffic to a site but im just kinda stuck:/

I've made a Facebook fan page, commented in forums about the niche and back linked like crazy and im still seeing no results.
Any suggestions? anything would help.

    What kind of backlinks? Do you have any fans yet?

    In my experience, sometimes it takes way longer then a week to see your traffic efforts pay off.

    Just keep going. Maybe try twitter? Pinterest? What about all the social marketing websites like digg and such? Try these out.

      Maybe he put in much more. I was just assuming because many people including myself expect 1000 visitors a day after 3 backlinks and a forum post.

    I guess, you are too early to expect from what you have done so far.

    Do you get a lot of fans out there? Do you interact with them? Or just make it and leave?
    When you come build your site, make sure you know exactly who your target audience are and where you can find them, and then start thinking about how to drive them to your site.
    and some general techniques on "how" to drive traffic is by using SEO techniques, or even paid traffic or advertising.

    You need to wait a few month minimum, gaining organic traffic takes a long time, just keep your head down and continue doing what you are doing

    After a month or two take a look at your stats and decide if it is worth continuing

      Hi Dillon ,

      Personally for me twitter and google plus are excellent for this.Get yourself a good twitter name and then start searching for appropriate hash tags.The likelihood is if you follow those kind of people then they will follow you back.Then start up an exotic pets google circle and hunt for lizards or geckos or whatever it is that you are targeting and then add them to your circle.Then every time you write an article post it to that circle which will hopefully get shared.That way you know you are getting very very targeted traffic.Its almost like having your very own list .Plus I have seen google plus shares have the top page in google ..... Funny that so then you may get traffic from organic seo

    How many hours per day do you work on your business? You need to do more than just Facebook and forums. Are you doing any paid advertising right now? You should see instant results with this - if the niche exists.
