Building a List and Having an Opt-In

I have a blog, and I just started another one that I am aiming at health and weight loss.

I am not sure how to build a list of traffic or how to do opt-ins or what to offer readers as a free gift or whatever I see people doing.

Can anyone coach me with this so I can make money? My one blog promotes my writing services and I post blogs on it pretty regularly and the other site I am trying to promote clickbank and affiliate products on products aimed at the health and fitness niche.

I am trying so hard to make money online but I feel like I am hitting a dead end no matter where I go. I have been at it for 4 years and when I charge $2 per 100 words people turn the other way and I do not know where to go to find people that are willing to pay that.

Stick to one blog, as your a writer it should be easy to generate a free report.

Have you got an aweber or similar account? Look on fiverr to get a quality ecover, and perhaps some technical support to put the form in your sidebar.

Have you tried selling your writing services here on the classified adverts?

Also hang out the writing blogs and get yourself noticed, guest posting may be a good tactic to use for you?

How does guest posting work and I did post a content ad in the warriors for hire section. I do not have money for aweber or have any email lists to add to it or how it even works. What would I need an ecover for? www.contentbyleeonna dot com

    - narrow your focus when entering into markets/industries. eg: weightloss is an industry. Six pack abs is a niche. Narrow your focus when building lists in the beginning. Pick a niche where people are spending money.

I am not sure how to build a list of traffic or how to do opt-ins or what to offer readers as a free gift or whatever I see people doing.

    - Go learn how to do this effectively. No one here will be able to guide you through this on a forum thread. Maybe someone will have the time to help you in more depth, but time is money.

The Basic Flow of Email Marketing:
Visitor lands on your website =>> They give you permission to contact them in exchange for a something of value =>> They join your mailing list =>> You send them information & promotions =>> You earn money from your promotions.

Can anyone coach me with this so I can make money? My one blog promotes my writing services and I post blogs on it pretty regularly and the other site I am trying to promote clickbank and affiliate products on products aimed at the health and fitness niche.

People are struggling to make money online and they are always looking for someone to help them step by step. If you're serious about this then go find one, but be willing to pay for that persons time. There's enough free informatuion around to guide you along this path though. You really don't need someone to hold your hand. What you need is a willingness to research the subject, make a plan of attack, and have a dogged approach to making it work at all costs. That means you have to be willing to fail - and keep failing until you finally succeed. Obvious, I know

I am trying so hard to make money online but I feel like I am hitting a dead end no matter where I go. I have been at it for 4 years and when I charge $2 per 100 words people turn the other way and I do not know where to go to find people that are willing to pay that.

So what is it you're focused on? Selling your writing services? Promoting health products? Promoting weight loss products? Pick one of them and focus solely on that until you start seeing results. After 4 years at this you really should have a plan in place. Without a plan, you will find it very difficult to focus on what's needed to get done. You most certainly seem to be all over the place here. I think it's fair to say that no matter what anyone writes here in this thread today, it should NOT be any more beneficial than what you should have learned over the last 4 years online. Something doesn't add up and I have to assume you are not being completely honest with yourself.

How are you going to make money from 2 sites if you can't make money from 1? Start with your 1 site that you're most interested in / passionate about, and monetize from there.

Create a great squeeze page, then give away a free report.

Drive traffic to your squeeze page... rinse and repeat.

    It really is that simple

There's little "technical advice" in it, but this thread might still be pretty helpful to you: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6123982

It's the "driving traffic to your site" part that I don't
know enough about... how to actually do that if
you do not have any list?
