What tweak is going to take it over the edge?

Hey warriors,

I have a site that I have been working hard on every single day for about 2 months now. It's about Disneyland.

Here is the link: Mouse Insight - Your one stop spot for updates, info and fun all about Disneyland Resort.

I have monatized it with adsense and amazon affiliate marketing with a store.

I am trying to figure out what tweaks I need to do to make it so my viewers start clicking on some of my ads or start purchasing from my store.

I currently get about 100 or so page views per day and usually get 1 click every other day. I need to get more but am trying to figure out what will do it.

I am backlinking everyday as well.

Your help is appreciated. Thanks you.

    Spice it up a bit.

Start churning out loads of videos for YouTube. You'll soon see a rise in traffic, which in turn will increase your clicks.

    Submit articles to related blogs.

Add paid advertising from hotels, regional attractions other than Disney, etc, to increase revenue.

Become an authority on not just Disney but the area itself.

      How close am I?

Not too close... My original url is disneylandblackoutdates. com but I realized that disneyland blackout dates had kind of a negative sound to it and plus that keyword wasn't the best for searches, so I got a new url from a friend and linked my new "mouseinsight" url to my original "Disneylandblackoutdates" url.

Thanks though for saying that my site looks professionaly done.. I guess im doing something right.

The design needs a lot of work. It's around 5 years behind current design trends, but even back then wouldn't have been considered that great. Also kill the music in the background. That is a serious no-no in web design.

I googled some other Disney fan sites to see where your's stands....

      wdwinfo.com
      micechat.com
      wdwmagic.com
      disunplugged.com

Their Alexa rankings suggest they get decent traffic, but they concentrate on current happenings around the parks. Whereas yours seems to be a general info site.... and that may be your problem. What reason are you giving people to come back?

Add content, such as a blog that talks about all the different things one can do at Disney. Content, content, content.

Beyond that, you'll need to define your question better. Tweak for what purpose? Think about what your goal is. Your goal isn't to tweak. Your goal is to improve something such as audience, sales conversions, etc. Figure out what your goal is first.

I think your best bet here is to start collecting more emails. You're in a very unique niche that doesn't have a lot of options when it comes to promoting offers. If you can funnel as many people into an email list as possible you can sell to them via email.

Maybe you can test out some CPA offers on the site instead of adsense.

I would see if you could place some ads across the top and maybe brighten it up a bit Disney is a colourful place not black and white

I changed the color and I do have some ads on the top. Any other suggestions?
