Higher Conversions on the Weekend with Facebook?

I started noticing something with my FB campaign. It looks like I'm getting more clicks and conversions on the weekend then weekdays on facebook.

I wonder if it's because people are less rushed on the weekends and spend more time leisurely browsing.

Anyone else notice something similar? My little theory is not conclusive as I've had my campaign only going for 3 weeks now. So take my brief observation for what it is.

My blogs have been blowing up from FB traffic. I highly suspect they already have a secret search engine. Weird ref urls.

Probably just coincidence.. It takes weeks of testing on Facebook to really get that campaign running on autopilot.

When you say more clicks / conversions .. is that more in general? Or is that more in relation to the number of times your ad was displayed?

I also noticed something else. My Facebook updates are more active during the weekends. Surprise surprise!

If you'll take a look at the market closely, this is quite obvious. More people are active on FB during the weekends because a lot of them are staying at home and have nothing to do but surf the net.

More traffic = > More clicks => More conversions

I think you are right, people are at home and the way they use facebook and the amount of time they spent there on weekends will be different than during the weekdays.

Facebook probably gets a little more traffic on the weekends so that could have something to do with it.

Generally I convert a lot worse on the weekends so... I don't like them
