newbie looking for game plan assistance

1) namesilo why? free privacy hosting hostgator why? great service / support and cheap

2) figuring out the market use google's keyword selector tool and use exact match Cross reference with spyfu

3) Stay away from WSOs if you are new

4) Read and figure it out. Lots of fake gurus just out to take your money as you lay on the floor bent over

5) Try not to spend money. Spend time instead.

Staying away from WSO is a sure way to stay FOCUS by following one course until successful

Thanks for the advice! I purchased a few domains from namesilo with my target market keywords in mind. Then I purchased hosting from hostgator. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to get all my domains hosted into hostgator, and I haven't even tried creating the sites yet. It's there a good recommended how to guide to get started with all this basic stuff?

I would like to mention fatcow.com for hosting. These people are impeccable with their customer service. If I'm not sure how to do something they pretty much do it for me. It's as simple as log into your account. Click on the little chat icon and within seconds you are talking to someone. Sometimes I feel like I abuse them lol. But they never complain and I haven't received a support bill yet lol.

Ignore those who say to avoid WSOs.

We all started exactly where you are, and getting guides and reports explaining "how things work" can be incredibly important in jump starting your online marketing.

A "WSO" is simply a special offer by Warriors offered for their products. Why pay full price elsewhere when you can get it cheaper here???

Without putting words in their mouths, I suspect what they meant was not to jump from product to product with different ideas and gameplans for making money.

My suggestion is to read the forum and decide who YOU value and trust. Then look for their products. For instance, when I joined the forum I read every post by the forum's owner, Allen Says, and bought all of his products. You can read many of his posts and reports in the War Room.

I also found some "big names" who were apparently making money, did research and due diligence to find who was making money on a regular basis with a real business (good) and who was relying on Internet marketing product launches (bad) and bought any guides they had.

Once you know what specific direction you want to go, then look for a "WSOs" focused on that issue.

Thanks again for the wisdom. I haven't completely ruled out any WSO, more interested in knowing which one(s) I'll benefit from the most before spending any money on any of them.. after buying the 5 domains and web hosting I'm already in for close to $100, which is nothing when compared to starting a brick and mortar business, but don't want to go from WSO to WSO searching for a holy grail. I'd rather learn from my own experience and mistakes with some guidance along the way.

So how do you go about "vetting" members on the forums? What tools are you using to see how much success a member is actually achieving?

By the way, I've gotten the domains, hosting and WordPress all set, next on the list is adding content to the site and creating an ebook that can be downloaded in exchange for subscribing to a mailing list. Will keep you all updated!

If you have been a marketing manager, then you probably already know a lot of what you need to know. Take what you have learned and apply it. Remember:

The internet is just a medium for reaching people. Like TV, or newspaper or radio.

The concept is much the same. When putting up your website, use natural content and don't worry so much about SEO. Creating high quality content will take care of most SEO.

PS. For initial hosting I like Bluehost (no affiliate connection). Used them for a while with no problems.

1. I choose namecheap for domain, hostgator for hosting, and wordpress for website building. They're awesome and I'm happy customer of them.
2. For keyword research, obviously Google KW tool and seobook keyword tools.
3. WSO? I think you should join affilorama first because it's FREE and a great program for affiliate marketing.
4. I follow personally Shane Melaugh from IMImpact.com, real reviews, many case studies, and great information.
5. Start small, scale then. My mistake was throwing too much money at first step.
6. Additional for content purpose, spinner tool. Check my sig
