Some Questions regarding Ebooks

Hey everybody

I've been writing an Ebook for the past couple months and all I have left are the illustrations, thank you page, and editing.

The problem here is I am doing everything myself, even the illustrations. Being a newbie on Internet Business, I see everyone just outsourcing their work to some online Assistant they hire... should I just do that? Or continue doing work all by myself, I can do it but it'll just take longer.

Also, have you guys hired someone to Edit your Ebooks? What if that person takes all the idea of your ebook and sells it in a better packaging?

Couple more questions... should I do a copyrights page? And should I start a limited liabilities coorp. before selling incase I get sued?

Thanks everybody!

If you have budget, just outsource the job that will take you too much time and effort. You can find a lot of services in fiverr that only cost you for $5. But if you have more budget and wants better quality, you can found it in this forum or other places (elance or odesk).

Just put standard copyright notice on the first page of the ebook, it should be fine.
I suggest you not to worry that much, if somebody want to steal an idea, they can find it anywhere

    Cheers!

If you are overwhelmed or just feel you have a better use for your time, you probably do! Definitely outsource and spend your time working on the marketing, etc. John Jonas has created a great program to help you with this....

Just google him and you will find him.

Hope that helps... good luck with your upcoming launch!
      Sincerely,
      Roman

What exactly is a standard copyright notice? Thanks!

Your suspicion is not baseless. I believe you need to do it by yourself.

Outsourcing the job can make the task easier and faster. You just need to record your voice, so that the VA will transcribe all that you say. Then the formatting will be easy for that VA, that is if you will hire the right VA. Also, you can check out a VA who can edit the book, do the graphics and everything and then later, will do the marketing for you too. It can be a loot moooore wise to do this than to do yourself alone.

To make sure that your work will not be stolen, it will be wise to get a VA from an agency/company. You will need to make a contract and agreement that the work is yours, and the VA and company should sign it.
