I have a site that I haven't been doing anything with for a couple month except setting up the template and adsense. I was gonna work on it but then I just received an e-mail saying that my adsense account was disabled. I haven't touch that site for aout a month now. I didn't do any manual clicking at all. I checked 3 days ago and my adsense had 0$ in it. I am just curious why is it banned?

I was thinking about using adsense to generate money, but with this kind of things happening....I am sorta reluctant to use it. I still wanna know the reason why it is banned thou.

Switch to CPA networks or your own products, mate. Adsense is a completely unstable source of income!

They aren't going to tell you because they ban multiple accounts daily in a mass. There's several reasons you could have been banned.

    - Your site may have had inappropriate content that didn't oblige to their terms of service
    - Your site may have had images or text suggesting browsers to click on the ads
    - Your site may have had overlapping elements that caused users to click on an ad when they thought they were clicking something else

It's hard to say without knowing what your site is.

What? I would much rather use AdSense than CPA companies... I trust Google far more than I do the majority of CPA networks. If he's just looking to generate some extra cash on the side or from a niche site, you can check around.

Here's a few that come to mind off the top of my head if you want more PPC advertisers.

    AdBrite
    BidVertiser
    Chitika
    Clicksor
    eClickz

Google doesn't ban people out of random, there's always a reason, but they're also not going to tell you due to the amount of people that they ban/approve on a daily basis.

I don't actually have any of that. My site was basically a "hello world!" site. There's no content and images. All I did was create a wp site and put the template there.
The site name is pengamers if you take a look at it.

I can't post link because I am new and I don't have over 15 posts, but you will find my site on top of the google by searching pengamers.

That's why you got banned. Adsense accept people with good-quality
websites. You should've added the code after creating some content.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Although that didn't help me! There are plenty of alternatives to Adsense, have a look around this forum and you'll see loads of threads on the subject. To re-iterate my position: go with Komoona, they kick ass!

    pengamers,

You should have received an email from Google regarding your banned Adsense account. You didn't?

I did, thats how I know it got banned. I didn't really care since I didn't have any click in it at all.
My site had pretty much no content in it yet. It just got me curious as I was gonna make some cash out of adsense. Thank god I haven't work anything on it yet.

I got banned from google about 12 months ago for a site ( can i post it here? ) in which i placed a few ads on, and published some of my own content, and sydnicated others. The letter said inappropriate behaviour. Total revenue from ad clicks was about 2.67. I sent numerous emails to google, and nothing written, or probably read, by a human came back!! I really wanted to learn what i did wrong!

  • I was banned from Adsense some months ago, it worked for five years then *BOOM*. Google decided to close it within the over $260 I had on it, without any possibility.
Why? Fraud clicks. The usual stupids who are liking to put people off from Adsense.

For this reason I suggest to change ad provider, or at least make a try with CPA or quality ads from affiliate programs.
For example my Halloween costume website was producing around $30 a month via Adsense, but inserting a CJ.com banner I get up a minimum of $100+ for each month.

So change your mind, for me Adsense is out. Forever.
    See you soon,
    Alessandro

There's a difference between Google disabling the ads on a particular site and banning your Adsense account. I've had Adsense disabled on a couple of sites but never had my Adsense account banned. I sold a couple of sites and the buyer never replaced the Adsense with his own and changed the site so that it no longer met Google's Adsense TOS so they just disabled the ads on that site. I still have a healthy Adsense account though.

I use to be banned from Adsense because I got click bombed on one of my sites from a competitor, which Is a really low blow If you ask me.

If you get banned just sign up for a PO box. Costs $60.00 a year In my area. Simply sign up again using your PO box as address, and different website (same name doesn't matter). Worked for me, I don't think they ever even looked at my appeal.

Before I did that I tried different Ad companies and none of them compared to Adsense.

If you get banned and were doing nothing wrong, It's because of the advertisers. People click ads on your site, goes to advertisers page, doesn't opt In or buy a product, advertiser complains and Google says fraud clicks.

Sorry for your troubles with Adsense!
