setting Up An Pop Up E-mail Optin Page

Can anyone give me a hint to set up a pop up e-mail optin page for my website. I really want to get into list building and leverage the traffic that i'm getting to my website.

  • Man, do a little Google search. There are dozens of plugins for that purpose.

PLM Lite has a decent widget included that you just add your optin code to,

    Try it: PLM Lite

You can find a script somewhere, or use a newsletter manager that can build one for you like Aweber.

Greedy, you may be misunderstood what i mean. For sure i can get a code from autoresponder that could be use for the e-mail optin. What i am trying to learn is the technical aspect of it in order to make it work. I wanted to make it just how they do they with the content lock thing. You can say that it is essentially is a content lock. However, i need to pop it up as such that the visitor is forced to have their name and e-mail address submitted before viewing the webpages.

Pop up domination is good and with it being a clickbank product you could buy through your own affiliate link to get a good discount.

Make sure you set it up properly to minimize how much you piss off your readers. Nothing worse than a pop-up that keeps on appearing everytime I click a different link. I'm also not sure that blocking all content until you opt-in is the best long term marketing tactic, a separate squeezepage would be more effective.

I've been checking a few out and the one that made it onto my shortlist was Chris Guthrie's Welcome Splash. Run a quick Google and you'll find it.

I'll be installing it on my blog this week.
