Question on Amazon Affiliates

Is it possible to sell something extremely specific from amazon with an affiliate link? For instance, if I want to sell a book that's on Amazon called "I'm a Great Book"...and I don't want to sell ANYTHING else on amazon through this particular affiliate link...is it possible?

Or, do I have to just go with something more generic like...selling books in general, and Amazon picks which ones for me?

Oh! And how do you cloak an affiliate link?

    Yes you can get individual product affiliate links. After you are logged in just click on 'link to this page' on the top of the product page and you will be given choices of image link, text link or both.

    I don't think amazon like you cloaking their affiliate links, but there is no need to cloak their links.

    Yes, you can. Like @ParticiaJ said above. You need to have an Amazon associate account. I use text aff. links for particular products on my Squidoo lenses. If you want to cloak the link, you can do this with plugins which you can use on your website/blog. I use Smart Affiliate Links - but not for Amazon aff. links.

    It's OK as long as you're not direct linking eg through PPC or organic search results that just redirect to Amazon.

    Absolutely no problem at all just link directly to that product page using the option within your Amazon Associates account.
