Warriors, How many of you have tested and shown that adding a video under your main headline on your sales page boosts conversions, etc.? If so, what type of video did you create? I'm just curious because I'm about to add a video on a site of mine under the headline to see if it helps. Thanks! |

Amen to that Jay. Of course it's not even that simple because video #1 could increase conversions and video #2 could reduce them. Give me a T! Give me an E! Give me an S! Give me a T! Neil |

Well if you consider that the human minds' retention rate is higher the more various stimulus it receives. Site, sound, touch , smell. With video you can capture the sight and sound. In video you also can emulate touch and smell to virtually capture all four senses. Now when it comes to converting sales from your video, or having the viewer take an action will come down to more variables such as what is the content about, what your voice sounds like, how you present your video, etc. The best thing you can do is to split test the page. I'm testing this out right now on a couple of my sites. I'll let you know the results in a month time or so. I use to have an audio message, but now I've converted this to a video message. -Ray Edwards |

...agreed with everyone here - it really depends on what your video is as well as one could even split test videos! cheers, m | |

As a newbie here, it was good to be reminded of how important testing is to everything you try with your website. Thanks guys
