Newbie question: The Thank You page

INTERNET MARKETING

I am creating a sales page using Optimize Press and I'm doing my check out with ClickBank.

ClickBank is asking me for my "thank you" page URL. How do I create the Thank You page after they purchase and how can I get it to re-direct to it after they purchase?

not sure how u can create the Thank You page but I can tell you clickbank will redirect the customer to the thank you page you specify for the product

Check the optimize tutorials, or send them a support ticket.

It should give you some sort of download protection, and link in directly to clickbank.

You then upload the files inside of the optimizepress admin area, and it should also create a membership account for them.

I just use a sales page template with a header for a thank you page. Mine is the last step in an opt-in funnel.

The thank you page is just a "thanks for your purchase" kind of think, and a great place for FB and Twitter sharing buttons.

Create another page on OP. Put a thank you message on it. Tell them to check their email, or put the download link on that page. Copy the URL and put it in ClickBank.

"Thank you" page is usually the page (in your sales funnel) where you "deliver" your product to your buyer after the buyer paid up (i.e. was charged by the credit-card processor: clickbank, paypal, etc)
On this page you include a link to the thing he/she just bought.

Or you could also just say "thank you for your purchase" on this page (hence the name), and deliver the links (the download links) through email to your customer...

So any page cold become a thankyou page ... provided you deliver your download links there ... making sure google does not index this page may be helpful here (hint hint)

Can you upload the e-product to ClickBank and have ClickBank send an email to them to download the product?

Now that I'm thinking about it I'd like for the purchaser to be opted in for my ezine once they purchase (I use Aweber). Anybody know how to set this up?

I usually use sales page 5 (sales letter standard) for optimize press because it has no border and it usually is easy to customize.

1. I just put some header
2. Put some graphics saying "Thank you for purchasing...(what product)"
3. get the link and use for a thank you page.

basically the idea there is to have a page for you to thank the purchaser.

Hi Innovator!

You can set up a page (thank you page) using Kompozer or NVU!

You don't necessary have to set one up in O.P.

Just set up your Thank You page with an opt-in form on it after someone has purchased it and have them place their details in the form in order to receive their download etc.

Then you need to set up this within Aweber before you place the opt-in from onto the thank you page.

You can then build a "buyers list" because you know that when someone has entered their name and email address into that opt-in from that they are a buyer!
