Hey guys.

For all you guys out there doing webinars, what's the best time/day to do them?

I've done some research and everyone has a different opinion.

Thanks,

-Andy

This may sound annoying but test for yourself. That's the only way you'll really know.

The ones I see for a U.S. audience are usually around 5-8 p.m. EST. mostly during the week. But it can be anytime, really. It's up to you when you want to test.

It will totally be dependent on the demographics of the market. I will personally arrange in a time when they have finish their work and they are more willing to listen. Local time of around 7pm to 9pm is the ideal time for me personally.

I surveyed my list and they said Tues, Wed, Thurs 7pm. The second most popular time was 8pm.

  • It really depends on your target market, their time zones, commitments etc. You can never please everyone but by offering a poll you should get a fair idea of what the best times would be for the majority of your audience. So far I've found, by popular vote, 6pm EST to be the best time for our US/Canada audience

I remember when I first started doing webinars in the IM niche, James Jones said to me, "You should do your webinars on Friday or Monday, because nobody is doing them on those days." Oh how times have changed! Now, there are multiple webinars every day of the week.

As others have suggested, try testing your audience. Ron says he polled his list, which is very smart. Why would you ask us when you could ask them?
