Hello fellow Warriors, I haven't posted in months, but I do have a question for you all. Say you build a simple site and you realize over time you don't like the design, maybe you want build a more professional site to be an authority in your niche or something like that. Will redesigning your site to a much better one hurt your ranking stats? Thanks for any input -Dave (suaveymcsuave) |

How's this for a wonky answer. Maybe. I would be making changes very slowly. I had a PR4 site and completely revamped it trying to keep the PR'ed pages in place and it dropped to a PR0 site about 6 weeks after.

My friend, it's my suggestion that you make slowwwwwww changes. Add on some pages, then redirect to those pages in the future with a soft redirect maybe? I don't really know, my experiences haven't been the best. F. |
