Question on The All In One SEO Pack Plugin For Wordpress

I am a little confused, the plugin generates meta keywords for search engines right?

And by that, does it just take the "tags" you slapped on each individual article published
and put them in the meta (keywords) code?

I know there is more to this plugin but is that how this plugin works with meta keywords?

EDIT: nvm, didn't realize the keywords thing was at the bottom of the "write" page.
